  1. If this latest turn of events ends up being accurate would the WWE recieve negative publicity for dedicating a three hour program to a murderer?

I would imagine so in some quarters. However, it was only while the show was actually on air that news regarding the double murder/suicide being a possible cause of death emerged. In my case, iI heard it on FOX News at around 4am, during the WMXX three-way.
  2. FOX News have just reported it as a potential murder/suicide, with Benoit having killed his wife and son over the weekend and himself yesterday or today. :(

  3. I have also been given a little Derby tip. I have been advised that Cockney Rebel will run very well in the Derby. It comes from the same source that has given me Sir Percy and Motivator in the last two years at big prices. It is currently 50-1 and the person who gave me it advises a few pounds each way, so I thought I would share and you can do what you like.

I hope that tip extended to the 2000 Guineas today. 25-1!As for me I didn't have a bet due to feeling like utter crap after alcohol excess, but I had fancied Diamond Tycoon, so thank God for my hangover.

I still won't make the

  5. Well after a good Cheltenham I am off to market Rasen today. Nothing serious running but Kercaballec (spelling?) likes it round Rasen but will probably only be about 2's. Katchit was my only winner of the last day of Cheltenham with a lot of my other runners being dissapointing, Honourable Spider, Osana, and Pablo Du Charmil inparticular. Roll on 2008 and particullarly the Gold Cup. I have Denman at 25's and I would not swap that for any other horse that is likely to line up.

You reckon Denman and Kauto Star will run in the same race? Kauto to stud perhaps (George Washington-esque problems not withstanding of course)?
  6. Anyone backing hot favourites during this festival is getting kicked squarely in the bollocks. As far as I recall, only 3 have come in over 3 days (Heads OnThe Ground, Gaspara and Denman).edit - Cloudy Lane too

  7. Desperation has kicked in. I set up a Betfair account this evening for some reason and plunked a fiver on Chelsea in-running for the hell of it. With my Cheltenham reckless run series going on (only Toryumon/DG fans will get that one), I was delighted with the
