I think what doesn't work is RJ doing play-by-play, wrestlers/former wrestlers doing this has never work. Callum needs the role of lead commentator.

Pointless booking for a pointless match. ROH have virtually got their own Dome show outta this.

I think that's rather unfair to say. With 10 title matches, this is a big thing for NJPW; probably their biggest show to date. Having ROH talent only adds to that success, but it would be just as successful without them. Elgin has his own following in Japan, its not necessarily a ROH match at all; if anything i see that match in itself more NJPW vs ROH as I see Elgin more of a NJ talent these days.

I know, but what I'm saying is surely it would have been the safer option?

As soon as they announced a tournament, i thought "Brilliant, a fresh start for everybody to show what they can do and get themselves noticed a bit". Then they announced the first match as Reigns/Big Show, that was enough for me to start smoking again...

I honestly feel that the safest thing to do would have been for Sheamus to cash in when Rollins injured himself in Dublin, it would have been something different as nobody has ever cashed in on a live event (with WWE.com showing it obvs) and it would have made RAW more watchable the following monday. Also would have made Sheamus/Reigns at Survivor Series.

Great show overall. Agree with FelatioLips, Gable and Jordan were robbed.

They remind me of a combination of WGTT and The Brain-Busters. I also feel that they need a manager if they're intending on eventually pushing them.

New Japan Pro Wrestling is now advertising that their upcoming King of Pro Wrestling PPV on October 12th will be broadcast with English commentary. Little information is known other than a graphic promoting "live coverage in English", and we are still awaiting an official announcement regarding who the announce team might be

Hopefully JR will be involved, himself and Matt Striker definitely brought a new element into WK.

Uprising was definitely worth the money, going to buy in on demand on payday.

I think RPW need to do something about rails however, I lost count how many times they nearly collapsed/knocked into the front rowers.

FYI, it was Moj who was the ring announcer, not Stew.

So it was, my mistake! Point being Stew always had a lot of time for myself and others, as mentioned previously he'd only want us to keep optimistic. Doesn't stop this feeling so raw though, gutted.

Absolutely gutted.

One of my best memories of Stew was when he was ring announcing for Chickfight at Orpington Halls, Amazing Kong made her presence known and he made a blooper after the match by calling her "Awesome" Kong after the match. Everybody in the audience found this hilarious because she simply was awesome that night. A few months later she used the name Awesome Kong in the TNA debut, me and Stew always laughed about the fact that 'TNA stole his idea' and that he should be calling up and claiming royalties. 

RIP Brother, you were so knowledgable of this profession and we'll all try and make you proud as wrestling fans. You're no longer suffering now <3

Why did the WWE bring Tazz in?

 

His debut was incredible. Great entrance and reaction, hands Angle his first defeat and looks a huge deal. Skip forward a few months and its all for nothing.

 

Did they have plans for him that just changed? Or was it a case of just pinching ECW's top guys because they could.

I know he had his neck problems in ECW, but didn't  they start becoming serious literally not long after he joined WWE? I'm sure that had something to do with him not getting his push.

Either that or he said no to Patterson......
