Then install Ares Build. It will have everything you will need, Exodus, other apps, sportsdevil etc.

And the easiest way to get apk's installed on the firestick is via Dropbox / Google Drive - Install ES File Explorer, Cloud -> Add Dropbox

 

Then on PC save all the APK's you want to install in to a folder on your Dropbox. Access via ES File Explorer and install each APK. Easy.

In Kodi go to

File manager,

Add Source,

Type Url http://chrisbwizard.pcriot.com

 

name it Chrisbwizard

click ok and back to home page.

Then go to settings,

then addons,

then install from zip file,

then go to Chrisbwizard,

and load the ChrisB wizard. (File name wizard.zip)

Once installed (there will be a pop up)

you will need to go back to home screen.

SECTION 2

Go to Video and select addons,

Video addons,

Chris B Wizard addon,

then select the build you want (Little Beast)

 

 

The easiest way to get Kodi on the beast is via ES File Explorer app. Simply download the app on the firestick, and then via it, you can open up a web page and visit http://kodi.tv/download/and select the ARM android version. I'd also look at getting the Firestarter.apk downloaded so the stick will launch straight in to Kodi

Is there a way of downloading firestarter via ES File explorer?

Download the apk for it and put it in your Dropbox folder and you can link that up with es file Explorer via the cloud feature in es.

What applications are you referring to then?

Kodi is kodi, regardless on what platform it's running on. So moving for a firestick to an android box won't make a difference.

We borrowed a Firestick to give it a go but found most of the movie and tv apps unreliable so we're sticking with android phone/chrome cast setup at the minute. One of the other dads from my son's football team is selling android boxes and is offering us one at more or less cost plus he'll do the setup and any updates we need so when my missus moves house this week that's probably the way we'll go.

It takes 15 mins to understand yourself, don't pay anyone for this.
