  1. I thought he did a solid job.  The only time's he ripped on the product was over the Corbin section  with some dude in a dog costume and a little dig at the change in colour of Bray's title belt.  Both perfectly deserved.  The Promo at the end was decent and showed how lacking the product currently is for decent people on the Mic.  Him no selling Booker at the end and what appeared to be a genuine laugh from both guys was good fun and shows that he was feeling way more relaxed by the end of it.  more of the same please.

I've said it many times before and will continue to bang the drum for it. WWE All Stars. The only good wrestling game since Here Comes The Pain. SEQUEL NOW.

yeah this game is fantastic and still gets played by me and my lads on the old ps3 a lot.  love the huge oversize characters and could even make half decent caws using it despite the limited mode.  love it.

It doesn't take a masters degree to know that the type of people who complain about such minor, trivial issues are usually the ones who are found on wrestling forums discussing such matters.

We're talking people who are a couple of degrees removed from the types who post on Alex Jones forums. The types who obsess over the trivial shit that most people don't even find worthy of a second thought.

Most folk just tune in, watch the show, and get on with their lives. If it's shit, then don't watch. If there's a few minor inaccuracies or inconsistencies with the storyline you just move on and enjoy it for what it is.

This isn't fucking Poirot we're watching, it's wrestling. So what if a commentator made a throwaway remark about someone not being easy to dupe? Does it really fucking matter to anyone but the most challenged of minds?

EDIT: Apologies to Keith about the double posting,. You see what you're driving me to here @tiger_rick, you bastard! 😁

I think this is why I don't tend to watch on my own now but instead always record and watch the shows with my two boys who are 7 and 9.  thankfully not yet Jaded by the internet they still watch with the simplicity of goodies vs baddies and exactly the mentality that you talk of where a little guy beating a huge dude like Big Show or Braun would be awesome.  They cheer for their favourites just as loudly at a local house show as they do watching Reigns or Brock on RAW and the world of wrestling is so much more fun as a result.

  4. ah man I've got so addicted to Skateboarding.  decided to take it up at age 40 having never done it as a kid.  Just got bored of standing around watching my two boys at the Skate parks on their boards and scooters.  Its been about 2 months now and I try and ride as much as possible.  I'm rubbish of course but gradually gaining confidence.  I set up a facebook page to chart progress and hopefully inspire a few other older would be riders to get on board. If anyone is interested its at www.facebook.com\tooold2skate

  5. The Fun side of Braun really started with the Mix Match Challenge.  The stuff with Bliss was handled brilliantly.  It was funny and charming all at the same time.  It's rare to have someone that has been pushed hard as a monster that can be so likeable at the same time and in my book that is WWE gold.  He's able to pull this stuff off and then at the drop of the hat step in the ring and look an absolute beast.

  6. This was the first Mania I've watched with both of my boys.  They have loved wrestling for a couple of years but now being 6 and 8 were old enough to watch the whole thing with a bit of distraction from ice cream and wrestling toys on the floor at the same time.  The point of the post is just how much more enjoyable the watching experience was for having them invested.  You realise why you loved it to much as a kid.  Pretty much every match became instantly more fun because they had picked their favourite and we all therefore had someone to cheer.

Edit - apologies.  I meant to post this in the Mania thread itself.

I didn't get to the SciFi con they ran but they done a phenomenal job putting Liverpool Comic Con together in just 8 weeks after MCM pulled out of doing Liverpool shows only 2 years into their contract with ACC Liverpool

yeah I agree.  Liverpool Comic con was a done brilliantly and to do that in the short space of time they managed I'd be very interested in anything else they get involved with

I think Undertaker won't even answer the challenge next week on Raw. They will have Cena be amongst the audience all night at Wrestlemania and then at some point Undertaker's theme will hit and they will have a spontaneous match. That would be their "wrestlemania moment".

wont be having that one in my skybet acca then :)

  9. I guess you could have Rousey come in quite late and look awesome clearing the ring apart from couple of other wrestlers and then have Stephanie get up from the desk to pull her over the top rope from outside of the ring.  that way Rousey comes in looking hot and you get instant heat and a match set up without the early pay off.

WWE All Stars was a decent game.

Really is great fun to play.  Still play this with the kids.  They love the huge over the top finishers and the cartoon look to the wrestlers.  actually able to create some pretty decent wrestlers with it as well with a bit of work.  Not happy I lose to an 8 year old though.  I've become the rubbish dad that has a go but is whooping boy for the family :)

  11. I'm going to be massively in the minority here but I don't see Ambrose as a viable threat to the likes of Lesnar, Triple H etc and therefore can't see him as 'The Guy'

His moveset and general attacks just looks incredibly weak.  Like the recent flurry punches on Lesnar.  He looks scrappy generally and the bounce from the middle rope never looks to have enough momentum to lead into the clothesline that comes off it.

He's fantastic on the mic but despite his popularity with the older fans I don't see the kids walking round in his merch in the way they do Cena or Roman.

  12. Was recently going through old DVD's and ended up watching the pilot episode for the A-Team tv series. B.A takes a beating in a bar fight from a dude that looks just like a young Khali!?

does anyone know if this was him?

Don't think it's him if this is the fight scene

This question reminds me of everyone I knew as kid thinking the opponent of JCVD at the end of A.W.O.L was Andre The Giant. Obviously it wasn't, but kids are dumb.

I'm still working on shaking the dumb thing off. no joy yet :)

  13. Does anybody know why the Kid Rock stuff is edited out of the Blu ray for Wrestlemania 24? as the Diva's come out during the end of his set it just cuts to them all in the ring
