Its a cock up on disney's end.They say the version without the spear is the same that was in cinema's even though it clearly wasn't and marvel themselves have said it was . Hell the schwarma post credit scene is there so how can it be. this is marvels statement

Each country has its own compliance issues relative to depictions of violence. Unfortunately, another region’s elements were inadvertently used to create the UK in home release which minimally altered this scene in the film. We thank our fans for their vigilance in recognizing this and apologize for the mix up.

 

Disney take over and there is an immediate fuck up. Loads of folk thought this would happen. They've done this before with american releases getting more than other countries

People are also annoyed at the lack of whedon commentary but they got the master disc to create the release a month earlier than america and whedon hadn't recorded the commentary by then. They have said (disney) that people should just import the us blu ray which is region free.

According to PWInsider.com's Elite section, SpikeTV and TNA have come to a mutual agreement to keep Impact Wrestling live through 2012. The report notes that there may be a few exceptions made for holidays. An official announcement is expected to be issued soon.

Google has entered the Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon fray, creating an algorithm that allows you to play the cult game using the search engine.

 

The idea of Six Degrees is to connect one actor to another using the least amount of films, so for example Marilyn Monroe has a ‘Bacon Number’ of two, because she starred with Jack Lemon in Some Like It Hot, and Jack Lemon starred in JFK with… Kevin Bacon.

 

Google has now made it super-easy to play the game – simply type the word ‘Bacon Number’ followed by the name of the actor you want to test, and voila, the search engine spews forth said celeb’s Bacon number as well as the films that connect them

Something silly to pass the time. Its quite hard to get anything above three apparently but i bet someone here could. I tried John Cena and Kurt angle and they both came up for only 2. Can see it becoming quite addictive and annoying but oh well

Thought Dredd's 3d was fine much better than spiderman's whihc was the last one i saw. Final Destination 5 and Harold and kumar's christmas has great silly 3d as well
