  1. Wow. It's nice to see hear how far people are coming for this. Your right in some instances this might be the only opportunity you might get to meet some of these people so best make the most of it. On terms of prices I think it can seem quite expensive (and in truth it is an expensive hobby) but it might be interesting to note the prices PSI are setting are very much in line with conventions out in America and general autograph conventions here.

Yep going with my brother and 2 other mates. Thing is I missed the chance to meet Bret & Shawn (My 2 all time fav's) last year as I had just been operated on for my back so was very pleased when PSI announced this on their page. What day you going LSM? I'm going on the Sunday as I fly in late Friday evening.

Just to add to the above post. PSI have announced Howard Finkel for LWC with a special offer on tickets. First 50 people 5 place an order for him with get an auto/photo combo for £10.00. After that it's £20.00.

The updated list of guests now looks like this:

Headliners: Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Jim Ross, Trish Stratus, Alberto Del Rio

Superticket Guests: The Nasty Boys, Tugboat/Typhoon, Ron Simmons, The Godfather, D'Lo Brown, Val Venis, Chavo Guerrero, Jacqueline, Terri Runnels, Jim Neidhart & Lita, Gangrel

Vendor Guests: Demolition, The Mountie, Tatanka, Davey Boy Smith Junior, Howard Finkel, Ashley Massaro and Diana Hart.

World of Sport Guests: Marty Jones, Steve Grey, Mal Sanders, Johnny Kincaid & Johnny Saint

Really looking forward to this. I would have liked to have seen more but hey I'm sure there will be another one next year :)

Indeed I'm very much looking forward to it as well. I personally think the guest limit is about right. With 30+ names that's nearly double the amount the WrestleSlam people brought over years ago. Also bear in mind that PSI advised that there would be talks / q & a's as well. I think that'll be enough to be getting on with. :-).

Hopefully this will be a tremendous success and like you said become a yearly thing. This is a strong line up of guests and if all goes well maybe they can expand for next year.

Oh for sure! It has been very pricey too but hey it is a once in a lifetime dream to meet such greats. I got myself a Superticket and every combo possible except for the World of Sports legends although I might pay on the day to take a pic with Johnny Saint as he is the only one I really know out of all of them. I'm travelling from Gibraltar :)

Aye, Stephen was a good chap and gone too soon. He had the loudest laugh in the office and a gamut of sleazy Cena anecdotes. Apart from his immediate family, he is survived by his (twin?) sister Dr Sue Black, a crazy clever computer scientist and instrumental in saving Bletchley Park from demolition.

Stephen's sister is Sarah. I kept in touch with her shortly after Stephen passed. I will never forget the day I found out he passed it was a few days after the Colchester v Leeds match and I was surprised he hadnt messaged me to comment on the result.

  4. Stephen was indeed a great man, is his loss is still felt by many today. I used to spend a lot of time with him at shows around the country and remember one up North in Manchester or maybe Birmingham - hey, it's all up North to me! Anyway, we were due to have Kurt Angle and Trish Stratus at a signing in HMV and about an hour before he got a call from WWE saying the appearances had changes, it was now Spike Dudley and Hardcore Holly. Stephen asked me if that was okay, to which I looked at him quite gobsmacked. It wasn't really a like for like replacement, but they were very good with the fans and nobody kicked up a fuss.

On that same day I'd already driven all the way down to Wales and back for a Hurricane Helms appearance but he was late, and so I had to leave before he arrived. Luckily the PR person there got me a WWE Magazine signed by Helms, which I then gave to someone in the queue for HMV, thinking it was my spare unsigned copy.

I also remember when we swapped from Mark Silvervision the 'person' on Facebook to a Facebook page because a person could only have 5000 friends. Luckily everyone moved over to the new page and got see all the latest videos of yours truly dropping DVDs on the floor every week or so :D

Great story there. I miss Stephen very much too and there isnt a day my brother & I dont bring him up in conversation. I was at the Hurricane Helms signing actually! :)

  6. Have very fond memories of Silver Vision. In fact a friend of mine used to work there! He sent me a friend request after I wrote a review of In Your House 21 & 22 I think it was. His name? Stephen Ambury. Stephen sadly left us too soon and was a great friend to me and was always there for moral support as I was going through a bad patch during that time too.

Will never forget buying WWF VHS growing up and seeing the inserts with all those covers and thinking 'Man.. Someday I would like to have every one of these. The Tagged Classics helped me build my collection and I remember once Armageddon 2000 & No Way Out 2001 was released I felt a bit sad as it was my final one and the missing piece of my PPV collection.. I remember getting the Mega Mail catalogues in the mail and going through them, making notes and making a list of our next order etc.

So many great memories that I could be here forever writing.. Loved their customer service, their posts on their official Facebook page and who remembers having Mark Silvervision as a Facebook friend?
