During Thursday night's iMPACT! Wrestling, TNA announced the following changes to the X-Division:
Â
* All matches will now be three-way bouts.
Â
* The division will now have a weight limit of 230 lbs.
Â
Going back to the beginning of TNA in 2002, the X-Division was previously founded with the tagline of, "it's not about weight limits. It's about no limits."
Â
Â
Me no likey!
Â
Thats not all. From what ive read there's 2 more rules:

Â
* The person pinned in the 3 way is eliminated from the next title match, the person not involved in the fall will be in the next 3 way match
Â
* The third person is decided by another 3 way match between the person eliminated and 2 other X Division wrestlers
Â

Sounds terrible

Quite clever that.
Â
Very clever. Although now it makes me think the photographer is also part of Aces & 8's.
-
I'm going to guess it was a dark match?
Â
I was thinking that too but it also involved Storm who was part of the tournament. So why not use someone else?
Â
I've seen these results for the show on the observer site, which are different. Maybe it was an error in the ones you had?

Qualifier to get into the tournament:
Â
James Storm b Ken Anderson with a superkick
Â
First round
Â
Samoa Joe b Jeff Hardy
Â
Austin Aries b Kurt Angle (Angle's leg was heavily taped up)
Â
James Storm b Bully Ray via DQ when Devon hit Storm with a hammer
Â
Bobby Roode b Sting
Â
Semifinals
Â
Samoa Joe b Aries
Â
Roode b Storm by submission
Â
Finals
Â
Roode b Samoa Joe via pinfall to win the tournament
Â
Â
That makes more sense!

Statto, were those things genuinely in the show? These are men of about forty or fifty!
Â
What Statto said was pretty much word for word what they said on the show. I thought i'd give it another chance. Set looks better. Only thing that cracked me up though was the Lennon/Hogan interview in a hotel where the set had a massive gap in the middle where you could see a guy eating his breakfast and just staring at the camera. But still, not a fan of Joel or Lennon, it is an incredibly smarky show rather than a news show. And lennon in his interview with Hogan saying stuff like 'I dont wish to start an argument with you and Bret but basically he said etc etc etc...'

Morrison recently wrestled for DG:USA and he's booked for the PWS shows Mania weekend.

Weed The People!

*Too late. Apparently #weedthepeople is already trending on twitter, ha.

For a company thats only been around for 10 years they sure do waste a lot of money on belts.
-
Has anyone else been reading Skullkickers? Its a fantastic DnD style comic book thats full of comedy and the main characters being total douchebags to everyone.
-
Apparently indy darling Sami Callihan worked a dark match before the SmackDown tapings last night.
Â
He did, he lost to Johnny Curtis apparently. The only move Sami got to do was a kick from the report i read.

Cornette table bump - f'n awesome.
Â
How does that bump write him off as injured? That wasn't even a bump, he rolled over a table then played dead. Terrible.

Arent TNA PPVs 4 hours in this country with the adverts they add in?
-
Very fair point. I think desperate may have been the wrong word to use.

TNA President Dixie Carter apparently reached out to the WWE fan who was upset over her son's sign being tore up at a WWE event over the weekend by Alberto Del Rio.
Â
According to the fan, Shelly Ehler, Dixie had read about her experience with WWE and offered Ehler's family VIP passes to TNA's Bound for Glory pay-per-view. Dixie noted to Ehler that TNA

Anyone read the PWI500? Its fucking dreadful (as usual). Bray Wyatt is even listed twice on it, ha.

Â
Considering how many matches Dolph has had its quite weird that there was 30 seconds of no video just so they could finish the song. Still though, some great selling.

Looks like they're making Nick Rogers look a bit more credible with the shades:

Â
He looks a bit like Daniel Bryans gay older brother. Im still not a fan of his missing navel.
