  1. I hate the Moose chant and shouting the next number thing, seriously makes my blood boil. Its just a part of indie wrestling really, a part I hate mind. Certain ones I can let slide if they are funny/part of the match; Adam Cole/Spandau Ballet Gold was pretty great but when they (fully grown adults) are just shouting bollocks to get them selves attention it gets tiresome.

  2. Liverpool - The Briscoes and Kyle O'Reilly vs Adam Cole and The Bucks.

Can't wait for the Liverpool match.

I saw online some one moaning that Liverpool  match was a crap ME, cant please some people. I think  it fits perfectly in the story line and feuds they have running and looks like it'll be a great match.

  3.

Trying to watch this weeks ROH TV show but keep getting an invalid content on the player. Anyone else having issues? Thanks.

They tweeted a few days ago they were updating the technology behind their video player. Might be related to that.

Same - I just kept getting the advert for All Star Extravaganza VII,  but its up elsewhere fine.

  4.

I realise interest in TNA is at an all-time low but is there anyone who would like to review the show for Steelchair? If you do, and you think you could fit in at steelchair.co.uk, give me a shout.

Wait...have you got a website now?  Does that mean you're going to stop posting your million word essays on every show?

    Hey its a snarky comment!

I dig Linus's reviews, got me in Lucha Underground and his introduction of Smackdown as "the show no one watch and nothing ever happens" was great and got a loud chuckle from me at work.

  5. I swear I've seen people posting how the house shows don't make much money and Vince only has the house show circuit so that wrestlers can get experience. It sounds like bollocks to me as surely a house show has a much cheaper cost than a episode of Raw or Smackdown and the fact its a cheaper cost and the merch sales with the family crowd as Butch mentioned should be a massive money maker.

  6. The last 2 ENDVR shows have been great fun, I haven't had the chance to get to a Progress sow due to working weird shifts and it selling out before I can sort anything, so ENDVR was the next best thing. Cant wait for next weekend show as my mate got front row tix, January 4th? sod the Tokyo Dome we got the Highbury Garage!

  7. Hold up Loki did you use CM punk and an example? The only reason I'd avoid him at a bar as he looks like a complete misery guys. Also on top of that physique wise he hardly put a bunch of effort it. I remember my mum seeing him on telly and she went "Oh he clearly like his sandwiches" gotta admit Zayn isn't as toned in the upper body as some of the lads but he's clearly put on a bit more mass from his ROH days could be he's just could do with toning it up. I agree with pitcos as there is certainly more variety in what can be acceptable.

  8. He's as green as grass, Garrett. Why are he and Brisco not regularly working tag team matches? They need lots of house show experience. I reckon he could be ok actually, Garrett, given time, but then again I quite like Brisco so I'm easy to please.

Could it be due to him being on a pay per appearance deal or something, considering TNA are trying to save cash left right and centre.

  9. Forget his (shite look). AJ's gimmick died when he spoke the other night. Sounds like a right clown when he opens his mouth. Also, his leather jacket is a size to big for him. You cant be a mysterious hard case if you are wearing a charity shop jacket and speak like a Looney Tunes character.

I've felt this about him for a long time - I cant stand his voice/accent, well him general - he makes my girlfriend seethe with rage when he is on the screen, not fun heel heat but general get the fuck off my screen you cunt type of anger. Remember when they used to do those segments of the wrestlers talking about their passion/dedication to becoming wrestlers etc? His one was about he grew up poor, dirt poor as he put it but then they got a SNES and he played street fighter until his thumbs were sore and he put a plaster on it to keep going. seriously? That just sums up the wanker he is. Like everyone else talked about over coming adversity , the long car rides for no paydays and persevering; he talks about being poor (but still having a telly and a console in the house) and how he got good at playing it. Yeah he looks shit aswell and a bit doughy.

  10. DVDs in Japan cost a small fortune.

As do CDs, that's the reason for Japanese bonus tracks, to stop people buying cheaper imports.

There's also more of a culture of ripping and copying in Japan. There are several rental chains whose biggest sections aren't movies, but music albums. It's one of the reasons the Mini-Disc did so well over there.

Why do they cost so much? Is it a tax thing? As in some bits of europe they seem to bang on a silly amount of tax on clothes and shoes compared to the UK. I noticed in Thailand they sold a load of dirt cheap, but official VCD's in comparison to the more expensive DVDs in the stores.

  11. This might sound harsh, but when Vince dies there could be the massive positive of all sorts of shit coming out about him, Savile style. His whole life has been spent on the road. Imagine what he's got up to?

Yeah, that's the unauthorised biography I'm looking forward to more than any other. It would be spectacular. I find it frustrating that we'll never get an equivalent to the 13-hour Flair DVD from Highspots for Vince - if that ever materialised I'd take the day off work the day I got my hands on it. Ronette would have to make her own way back in the rain from the train station and the cats get their food organically from the garden.

I had this mad thought the other day that he's got his book ready and the day he dies it goes to press. Then I realised if he was totally honest then he would fuck up the company he built for his family. As the company is a bloody great legacy and he's certainly that kind of buisness man.

  12. hitler-shop-3_1574470a.jpg

He's changed it now, but when interviewed, he said he hadn't realised who Hitler was, only that he was some big military leader or something.

He said Hitler was the nickname of his granddad as he was a strict man, also in Bollywood film a nagging boss or wife can get called Hitler. Still its a bit fucked also the link with right wing/fascist parties in India makes it look even more suspect. But then to some degree it might be how those events to that part of the worlds are so distant and alien.
