The film has a much different feel to it compared to the series. Not much comedy or quirkiness at all as far as I remember. I really liked it but don't go in expecting the same style as the TV show.

Klitschko-Pulev just delivered in a big way, damn good fight.

Agreed. It's still been very enjoyable but not quite up to the standards of past seasons. I do have the final two episodes to watch though so I suppose I should refrain until I've seen its conclusion.

Sky Atlantic are showing Mad Men from the beginning starting Tuesday. They've also got a bunch of new comedy starting in the next couple weeks too including Veep and new Partridge.

Yeah I'd agree with that. After watching the two series of Twin Peaks I felt as though I had to watch the film to finish it off but it really adds nothing in the grand scheme. In terms of his films it doesn't hold a candle to Blue Velvet, Lost Highway or Mulholland Drive. But then those films are classics.

I enjoyed it but it's not something that I rank highly of Lynch's stuff. One of the best parts of Twin Peaks was its humour and there was none of that in the film. It was also hurt by the lack of Lara Flynn Boyle, I think that would have made a big difference. Kyle MacLachlan backed out of playing a bigger role too which suck. I'd recommend watching it but I'd put most of his other films ahead of it.

S1 of Twin Peaks is absolute perfection. S2 is hit and miss but yeah, the finale is superb. No surprise that episode saw the return of David Lynch who'd left to make Wild at Heart during much of S2.

Still struggling through S4 of True Blood, how the mighty has fallen. Probably hop off the train at the end of the series unless things drastically improve. Homeland is watchable fare, liking the overall premise but some of it can be a bit of a chore. Luck has been rather excellent and it probably would have become a stormer had they managed to keep them horses alive but alas. S1 of Friday Night Lights is as good as I remembered and I'm glad to have the chance to see the rest of the show. Game of Thrones and Dexter starting up within the week on UK TV so there's more than enough to be getting on with.

Dogtooth is on Wednesday on Film4.

Best night of darts I've seen since the first Taylor-Barney world final. Just unbelievably good.

Another tip of the cap to FFVII and GTA:SA. The amount of albums I got just from listening to San Andreas is staggering.

God I loved Neighbours a few years back, one of the few shows I'm truly nostalgic for. Pepper leaving as well as the move to Five was the end for me, maybe it'll return to the glory days at some point.

England keeping two clean sheets gave me a nice return this week. I've got a double on Australia and India wins in the Twenty20 today which has started well. Looking at doing a Villa, Chelsea and Liverpool treble this week which should have some decent odds available.

Meltzer was just on FOX News but I missed it, anyone hear what he said?

I need to change my username.Still an utterly surreal story. What more can be said?

Awesome work Dopper, I've been watching a bunch of 2006 ROH recently and these reviews have been really helpful. So thanks to all!

It used to be called EMLL but changed a few years back to CMLL. Not sure why, check the Luchawiki.

That was your downfall Dai. Villa's defence is horrible most of the time especially when you consider that Mellberg, Delaney and Bouma are all injured. I do realise that this advice is a bit late though. The whole "key defenders missing" deal was correct, with Villa putting 2 past them. Shame Wigan put 3 past a usually decent Villa defence though. First home win in 2006 for Wigan. Oh well.

Dr. Laura Daughtery from Surface. Fantastic.

Saw V for Vendetta on Friday. Its not a classic but it was by no means a bad film. I was never bored when watching it although the film didn't flow at all well and you could argue that it never really got going at all. However, there were some very enjoyable parts and I didn't feel like I had wasted my money.

I watched the DVD version of Scum which at the top of the cover states it is 'the uncut, uncensored version'. I'd imagine watching an edited copy would probably take the edge off the film but I haven't seen the other version to actually know.

After seeing the great bazTNM pimp it on these fine forums on many occasions, I finally watched Scum last night. It is one hell of a movie and it hasn't dated one iota. The final few scenes are truly shocking and it makes for a terrific ending. A very obvious message was told during the film and they sure as fuck convinced me. I also watched Raging Bull a couple of days back. Another classic which is beautifully shot. The decision to go black and white was a very wise one and I especially loved how much the fight scenes and everything else contrasted each other. Thumbs up.

That right there, is my MOTY thus far. I want to join the Spirit Squad. How anyone can dislike them is beyond me as they're fabulous entertainment. The backstage skit with Vince and the trampoline spot were so amazing.Shawn Michaels vs the spirit squad from this weeks raw:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mubvYsvM1Mo...=spirit%20squad

Leftovers has been very good so far, bit of a shift from S1 but it hasn't hurt it at all.

Show me a Hero might be the best thing I've seen all year, absolutely adored it.
