  1. Apologies if this has already been covered. I've had the Network for a couple of years before it was available in the UK. I got UnBlock US to do the job. Now the network is in the UK, do I need UnBlock US anymore? Can I continue to watch the content and get away with paying the American $9.99. Watching via Xbox One. Thanks

  2. Didn't Jericho aim to hit Shawn Michaels though, and he just got out the way? On screen it wasn't as though Jericho was aiming to smack Mrs.Showstopper. It was an accident. Well that's how I remember it, can't be bothered watching it again. I liked it. Would it have been okay if Y2J put her in the Walls of Jericho and made her squeal like a little piggie instead?

What part of "I didn't enjoy seeing a woman hit in the face for real" don't people understand?

I think Chris Brown is the fucking man. Does that upset you treacle?

  3. Two for me, both from around the same timeframe, I think, which really made me question how I was spending my leisure time.

    Firstly:

Not a great pic, but I found this hideous. Ignoring the debacle that was McMahon's Million Dollar Mania which in and of itself made WWE a laughing stock, and showed just how out of touch Vince seemed to have become with popular culture, the fact that it ended like this: McMahon crushed under a scaffold, a week after a TNA crew member lost their life in the same way is just horrible. Whether or not Vince knew about it personally is beside the point. Someone in the company should've seen what was planned and said "no".

    Secondly:

I don't care how much of it was agreed or not agreed to beforehand - I very nearly gave up wrestling for good when this happened. Totally beyond the realms of taste and decency in my opinion. In fact, I nearly cancelled my sub to F4W when Alvarez kept going on about how he was sure she wouldn't have minded getting a fat lip if it made the angle look that much better. Deplorable.

Sadly, wrestling really is a sickness, and no matter how much it continues to offend my sensibilities, like the junkie that I am I will always come crawling back for another fix.

Tough titties, it happens in life. Art immitaes life. I beat the shit out of my wife all the time, so frankly I got a kick out of this angle. I really liked it when Austin hit Lita a few years back.

  4. Watching some old Honky Tonk Man stuff, and its safe to say that due to his prime, he's a legend. However I tend to lump him in with the wrestling losers club, for an assumed lack of money doing the indy gigs, and being a fatto.

Anyhow, I know he's fond of drinking, but does anybody know if he has a history of drug use?

  6. Sabu has too hasn't he?

Yea against benoit in ecw in 95 i believe. Its on the benoit dvd.

    Just searched youtube,

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UCGqwV3UVsI

I knew of the incident, just wasn't sure if it was properly broken, or if they talked up the injury.

Total work. What the fuck was Benoit doing if not planning that move? And anyway, Sabu took a perfect head-drop bump. The only thing that made it such a big deal was that no-one in the US was doing head-drops at the time and they played it up to the max.

I don't doubt that it hurt, but it was nothing like as big a deal as they suggested.

Benoit is on the record of stating Sabu was just to take a front bump, but decided he wanted to do a little twirl in the air an land on his back. That he didn't get the full rotation down. I don't think its a work to be honest. Sabu had a decent amount of time off because of this - and did not work. So unless Paul was paying him not to work (and I doubt he would take out his hottest attraction in order to progress an angle) or Sabu chose not to work for a while to progress an angle (keep in mind, that would involve turning down indy bookings - I guess Sabu was not adverse to turning down money). it doesn't add up.

  7. A few Legion of Doom questions:

Why were they not offered a contract in 2003 on their Raw return, when they were clearly over as fuck?

Have RVD, Kane or anybody ever talked about Hawks no sell of the frog splash?

They were writing a book before Hawk died, Animal was supposed to finish it? Any word?

    And some Bulldog Questions:

After he left the WWF in 1992, he did some indy shows in the UK. There were some photos floating about once - does anybody have any?

Are there any photos / videos from his wrestlng trip in Canada just before he died?
