To celebrate WWE2K15 coming out this week I have realised a strange fact that if we discount WWE 2K14 wrestling games have a great reputation for ruining video game publishers. The last console wrestling game that was made by a publisher that is still in business was Wrestle Kingdom 2 in 2007 however when limited to north american companies it would be WCW Backstage Assault in 2000.

If the number is accurate, it also shows what a fucking waste the killing off of the Nexus was. I wonder how much more money Brock's getting now than the NXT boys were on in 2010 to draw the same PPV numbers? The fact that none of them are worth a penny now is a travesty.

Has there ever been any actual insight how shoots are booked? As historically some big names have done shoots such as Flair and Angle yet is there a reason nobody has tried to do one with Hogan or Austin or even someone like Bischoff.

My first thought was that is was monetary but after the amount of money Highspots supposedly paid Flair i am less convinced.I was wondering whether or not it is stopped by a legends contract or if people just don't want to do it. Which only furthers my concern that we will never get an Undertaker Shoot.
