I think a lot of people are getting enjoyment out of this topic now...which is really pathetic.

I'm pretty disgusted today after reading some of the posts in this thread. None of us knew Chris Benoit or his family, none of us. No one on this forum has a right to judge what kind of man Chris Benoit was.Chris Benoit gave us all years of entertaining matches in pro wrestling and he was one of the best....That's it...I don't know the guy...nothing can take away the fact that he was a great wrestler and for some of you guys to push that to one side over something we don't (And will most likely never get all the facts) have all the details on....is a slap in the face to the man and to every wrestler out there.Who says the young up and coming baby face should be a nice guy in real life? It's pro wrestling. We knew "The Crippler Chris Benoit" not the real person. I was thinking at lunch about whether his peers and such would lose the respect they have for him. I imagine some will, but I actually think it's easier to lose respect if you don't know someone, because the bad stuff quickly overshadows the good.If you did know them and perhaps even loved them, something that was catastrophically bad but out of character might not blot their copy book so much. Then again, how could you ever, ever, ever justify or respect someone who killed their child?

I wish people would stop talking about "Mr McMahon" appearing.If he does great...if he doesn't...it does not make him a total asshole...perhaps people will be too distacted with the fact "ooohh he was faking it all along..." to care that Chris FUCKING Benoit and his family just died.It would be nice if Vince did the voice over on the video at the start (if they have one)....I'm more concered of the cause of the show and not if someone "dead" in a storyline will appear.
