I think the second Mosley fight was the beginning of the slide. He gave Mosley a good whuppin' but the judges gave Mosley the win. I think the wrong doing from that fight sort of had an up-and-down effect on him.
Â
After that Mosley fight he moves up Middleweight and gets a decision over Felix Sturm by a cunthair, then ironically looks great against Hopkins before he gets knocked out by a picture perfect liver punch.
Â
Has a 20 month break and looks the second coming against Ricardo Mayorga, but then again, that's Ricardo Mayorga. He was clearly winning the Mayweather fight and looked awesome in the first half of the fight before gassing, and being in there with a genius didn't help things. Looks shakey against Forbes and then this. A sad end for an all time great. Boxing is going to miss him.
Â
Mayweather V Pacquiao awaits!

Haye is not the popularity-wise superstar he might think he is, but he is without doubt the Boxing superstar he thinks he is.

Prime Roy Jones Jr smokes Prime Joe Calzaghe talent wise any way you look at it (except workrate).
Â
That said any Joe Calzaghe beats any Roy Jones Jr for me. Not because he's more talented or a better boxer but because he's a better winner. He always finds a way to win.
Â
I don't think Rocky Marciano is the best heavyweight of all time but I'd have him to beat any Heavyweight from any era because he always found a way to win. This is the same with Joe Calzaghe.
-
Best guess would be around 2-3am. That would make it 9-10pm in New York City, seems about the right time.
-
I pick Calzaghe, Haye and Hatton but I'd actually pick Pascal to beat Froch.
Â
It's the only fight Calzaghe can have to be honest. He is no longer a Super Middleweight so that rules out Froch and a Kessler rematch and a Pavlik fight would now defy logic. A Hopkins rematch would be his biggest challenge but I never want to see those two in a ring with eachother again, that fight was ugly.
-
Pavlik just got Lacey'd! Lucky for him he still has his middleweight championship. Doubt he'll be stepping up in weight again anytime soon.
-
Agreed. He's not had any wars so he is a stupidly young 36/37. I still think he will end up fighting Pavlik. I think Calzaghe can still do the business and outclass him. But he won't fight Froch, there is absolutely NO money at all in that one. It would be a good domestic fight but Calzaghe left the domestic arena behind as soon as the Lacy fight started.

Watching that fight was worth it for Vitali's entrance alone! Epic stuff.

Most likely not. Fact remains he did murder his Wife and Child no matter how much he couldn't help it. I'm still wondering how they would package the Wrestlemania 20 main event in "looking-back-at-Mania's-past" style video clips now. Because they can't exactly say that it was HHH vs HBK when neither of them actually won the match. But I do expect he will be mentioned on a Randy Orton DVD if there ever is one. How can you leave out his winning of his first World Title thus becoming the youngest World Champion ever?Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question, but does this mean that WWE for example may start showing clips or bringing his name up again, most possibly in the long run, since we've found he didn't do what he did because he was a bad person or evil or anything?.Obviously what he did is still horrible, but at least we know he didn't do it with a right mind.
