Who is that?! Really is it too difficult to put a caption on a picture?
-
Did we not have a rule about putting captions on pictures? Fair enough the Andre ones but some of those are fairly obscure.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-22832994On the Politics show this morning. There are no words.Surprised there hasn't been much of a mention of this:-http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2013/jun/0...ilderberg-groupAlex Jones is over here at the moment as well, protesting it. Has the nutter popped up being interviewed anywhere?

Whatever happened to James Tighe?
Â
Anyone know this? I was a big fan at one point, he looked like he had something about him but just seemed to disappear.
-
It really does help having a 3rd person, particularly as you can tell Taz resents the hell out of it, and is becoming a lot more snarkish, which is good as he's meant to be the colour guy and I always understood that meant being a little bit heelish and sympathising with the heels.
Â
Agree with this. As well I always found Tenay actually pretty good as part of a 3 on Nitro, smaller more effective contributions rather than desperately trying to fill in any silences despite having nothing to say.
-
Todd Keneley started in October.
Â
Oops, Is it just me or do they sound eerily similar?
Â
Have to say the 3 man team makes a big difference, even if it's just a fresh sound compared to Taz(z?) and Tenay droning on ad nauseum

How long has Joey Styles been on Impact?

I also want to echo how ace chat was last night. Everyone was a thoroughly good sport and good laugh, even TripleGay.
It was my first time on chat last night and I'm converted - great stuff all round.
Â
I was on as toothless, some great stories were shared by all.
-
Anybody been reading Cosmic Marvel recently. I got back into that side of things with Annihilation War and followed it from there. Just finished Thanos Imperative and it's maintained a fantastic quality throughout.
Â
I'd recomend it to anyone.

Is there a link to a website/online shop for this hardcover collection thing?
Previous page mate.
Â
They look decent and three good stories to start with. Think I'll keep my eye on what els follows before I subscribe. I've got the first three so no need yet.

Yes definitely what has he done in wrestling apart from write that shitty WCW book
Â
Just out of interest, why do you call it a 'shitty WCW book'?
Â
I take it that you didn't like it, which is fair enough; everyone is entitled to their opinion.
Â
I've read it and thought it was an excellent and accurate account of how WCW fell apart up to the end. It's kind of hard to put a positive spin on WCW during that era.
If you know why he said it then why ask?!
Â
In reality he's absolutely right in terms of the writing. As Woyzcek says the only amusement from the book is in the situations described. The writing is standard fare.

When living in St ALbans I met a couple of Z listers some that spring to mind was
Â
Sid Owen (Ricky form eastenders) Basically saaid hello to him while we were both slumped ove rpissed at the bar, not nice not arse hole but was apprently snorting coke in the VIP loos all night
Â
Michelle Bass from one of the big brothers was in another bar on a night out. my mate hit on her and did quite well till we put a stop to that, she came in to the next bar later after an invite from him but we were again too fucked very up herself IIRC. Plus we worked in the same pub company as this bar was in so got VIP and free drinks etc when she was stuggling to get her tarty self served.
Â
Â
I once got evils from rachel stepehns for trying to photograph her arse in the southampton gadget shop
Â
notiable arsehole from many a year ago - trevor mcdonald....we were at a theatre in stratford upon avon when I was around 10 watching a pantomime thing, basically he decideing he had already queue jumped his way into the building would also do the same in the programme queue, unfortunately he barged my dad, so if it wasnt for a quick shouting at by my mum to behave himself Im sure my dad would have levelled the old twat
Â
I wish I could be as cool as you.

The only Tarrantino film I haven't completely enjoyed so far has been Jackie Brown.
Â
Death Proof I thought was a little one dimensional but was enjoyable enough.
Â
I expect I'll watch this and enjoy it a lot. Seems to be "Reservoir dogs in Nazi Germany" style.
Jackie Brown was a real grower on me. It's now maybe my favourite Tarantino film.

Re; The Wire
Â
Chris' beatdown of Michaels dad. FUCKING HELL.
Play it over again but put the sound up and turn away from the screen. The sound of it is fucking brutal.

Rocknrollaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Â
Painfully average. I can understand why the critics were calling this a "return to form" for Guy Ritchie, because a home movie of his kid's birthday party would have probably been more engaging than Swept Away and Revolver, but I don't understand why this film has been so highly praised. It seems people tacked on an extra star because Ritchie re-embraced his oh-so-English gangstah movie side, despite this film ripping off countless other films, including his own work! It's like a Guy Ritchie Greatest Hits in places, and in others it's just blatant theft.
Â
Howard Wilkinson is clearly Harold Shand and his whole plot is clearly The Long Good Friday. Karel Roden is obviously Roman Abramovich and the painting McGuffin that supposedly holds the movie together is clearly the briefcase from Pulp Fiction. Add Toby Kebbel doing his best Russell Brand meets Pete Doherty impression and you've got a large mix of unoriginality and plagiarism, and that's before you factor in the callbacks to Lock Stock and Snatch, of which there are many. It's just lazy behaviour from a director who really doesn't have anything to say. It plods along with not much happening, truly unlikeable characters and dull set-pieces, before leaving the door open for a sequel. Depressing.
Â
I quite liked it

Just finished season 3 of The Wire. Fucking A'.
Â
Considering he started his on-screen career in The Bill, Absolutely Fabulous and bloody Family Affairs, Idris Elba's portrayal of Stringer Bell is completely compelling. Amazing, in fact. All told, across the board this is easily, far and away, the best acted show i've ever seen. It might not pack the punch of The Shield, or be as tidy as some of the more budget-ed shows like 24 and such, but it doesn't need to be. As tense and as dramatic as television could possibly ever be.
Â
I'm hoping season 4, which I start tonight, is a bit more Bubbles-heavy but besides that i'm all good.
Â
If he's gone, properly, i'm gonna miss Major Colvin. Well acted character.
Â
Still, the characters of Freeman, Bunk, McNulty, Stringer Bell and Omar (in no particular order) are some of the best television acting i've ever seen. Just fantastic.
Â
**EDIT** On a lighter note, seeing Kima suck tit will forever stick with me. It was good, too, 'cause she was tarted up. [pervert] She cleans up goooooooood... [/pervert]
Â
With the exception of season 1 I would probably have 4 as my favourite so far. I've still got 5 to go though.
Â
The different focus of the season just opens up a whole new area of the world. The school system and the progression of the characters is both fascinating and shocking at the same time.
It's amazing that a show can switch its focus so heavily and still remain compelling is a testament to the writers and actors.
Â
I'm torn with season 5 between watching it straight away because I'm desperate to know what happens and putting it off as long as possible because once it's finished then I will have no more Wire to watch ever.
-
Up to season 3 of the Wire now. My lass is away for next weekend so I'm planning to pick up season 4-5 through the week and have a marathoon next weekend. Good times!
Â
Can anyone give me a heads up for the cheapest place to pick up the boxsets from?
-
Â
This may just be my favourite single issue of any comic.
-
I had to go for GSP, the man is a machine. Sadly I think Lesnar will get it off the back of the Couture fight.
-
I'm going to video him next time, its so amazing. He loves it so so much and he splashes like mad, kicking his legs and waving his arms shouting "COOOOO!!!"
Â
My Nephew's exactly the same, he practically goes in head first he's so excited to get into the water. Great pictures by the way he's abolutely gorgeous.
-
Went to see My Best Friend's Girl the other day. Mainly because of my unhealthy obsession for Kate Hudson which is now bordering on Love. I can't recomend a monthly cinema pass higher as it gives me ample opportunity for filmic stalking.
Â
Anyway back to the film, have to say it's pretty much typical 'rom com' stuff, I really fail to see why Dane Cook appears to be so popular as he's pretty average at the best of times.
Â
All in all though it's worth watching for the wedding scene alone which has some genuine laugh out loud moments.

About the longest un-Wrestlemania streak question I asked.
Â
Forget the Heat, wwe.com or home video exclusives before WM as that technically isn't Wrestlemania.
Â
Funny how obvious it was Stevie Richards before he got released. I first thought of Funaki, but he was at the WM2000 Hardcore Battle Royal. And then Hurrican Helms, who as far as I'm aware has never had a match at Wrestlemania, but won (then lost) the Hardcore title under the 24/7 rule at X8.
Â
And yes, Lombardi competed as KimChee at the X-Seven Gimmick Battle Royal.
Â
I'm struggling to find anybody other than Snitsky
Did Jerry Lawler ever wrestle a match at Wrestlemania?
Â
I know he doesn't count now because he's not an active roster member but thinking about it I'm really struggling to think of a match hes had there.
-
Obviously you haven't seen Rounders
That wouldn't be hard, Ed Norton's only done two good films. This (although I think it is overrated and very flawed) and Fight Club (which is his actual best film).american history x is on tonight on sky movies modern greats. probably the best film edward nortons ever done.

Saw this at the weekend and surprised myself with how much I enjoyed it.

I loved the first reveal when Stallone wakes up in the Prison, draws you in well. Bonus points for the prison guard masks which are genuinely creepy.
