New Mastodon album is great but seems to be getting overshadowed by the new Machine Head.
Â
Can anybody name a band as consistently great as Mastodon?
-
On the subject where is the best place online to download NFL Games?
-
Cerebal bore are Death Metal & Man Must Die are Technical Death Metal but i guess they are a little core, To be honest ive heard 1 cerebal Bore track & seen man Must Die support Exodus Last year
-
Man Must die & Cerebal Bore are Scottish
-
I quite like the Metal Hammer Podcast although I find they cover far too much "core" stuff and seem to try and say things to be controversial. But there festival coverage is great.
Â
Is Beez the overly cockney one or the other one?

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news
-
Last year I think it was 1 or 2 months beforehand.
Â
Although Sonispheres camping capacity is just under its arena capacity so if the camping sells out there wont be any day tickets.
Â
Also if you are planning on going on the Friday for the Big 4 sonisphere have said they probably wont be doing day tickets for the friday at all
-
Would maiden tour through festival season or do you think they might be doing sonisphere or reading & leeds

Having just listened to At the Gates- Slaughter of the soul, it all sounds too familiar. You can look at this either one of two ways, their either hugely influential or before their time. To be honest i feel that ive heard it all before, once a great band, no At the Gates blend into the crowd. Now listening to Disgorge-chronic corpora infest. Mexican death metal at its most vile :-D
Â
I love at the gates but i think they have been ripped off & borrowed from by alot of bands that have gone on to be more sucessfull

R.I.P spoke to the guy at ROH and on msn a few times back in the day

Anybody else going to the High Voltage Festival? In warm up I've mainly been listening to DOWN this week. You gotta love them. To be honest I've not heard much from the other bands at HVF but I've been dying to see DOWN live for ages.
Â
I'm going for Black Label on the Saturday, but not sure whether to stick around and see DOWN as well.
Â
Go & see DOWN should be a treat

yeah cinema was really good my neck is sore & my voice is horse & I was sober the whole time

The Big Four live was great but mustaine sounded like hed had a stroke at the start of Megadeths set but after sweating bullets seemed to get going
-
I was indeed at the manchester show & your right lots fo old fellas in saxon t shirts & also alot of people in KISS t shirts which was a bit mad like
-
did my little 'Heavy Metal' trek that i mentioned at the top of the page, it was very good.
Â
Anvil were absolutely outstanding. I'll be honest, i only know of them because of the documentary, but the venue seemed packed with genuine Anvil fans, the Academy was packed and i was probably the youngest person in there (i'm 28). I thought the show was be good for a few tunes then kind of fizzle out due to me not being that familiar with the material...how wrong was I? the band were great, one thing that documentary does not do is show just how good a band Anvil are (it kind of plays em off as a joke), entertaining stuff.
Â
Glad you enjoyed your trip Anvil were amazing.
Â
Unfortunatly you were probably 3rd youngest there as im only 21 lol

The Production Cost's don't come in the form of pyro or anything its the fact that they have there own full custom back line and PA which they use for every show. I'm sure shipping that around cost's a fair bit
