  1. Well Troughton was put on trial for that really.

I think it could break the Time Lock, a paradox can mean such a thing having not happened. Interesting to see Skaro was in the new series, as you would have assumed it too was destroyed in the Time War. Perhaps that's a hint of what's to come.

Skaro gets restored by the new generations of Daleks, by using the "Eye of Time" which they stole off the Time Lords.

  2. If I was to have a guess at what the 50th anniversary might be, Steven Moffat would probably want to do a tight knit, emotional story with a epic bad guy, with connections to the past.

    So my guess is this:

After the Valeyard comes into being (played by an epic actor), he seeks to destroy his "good" self timeline, which would bring about a destruction of time (of some kind). With a few of his past regenerations murdered, the doctor is in a state of flux. Using a recall signal, to try and save what is left of himself, the tenth answers. Guided by the other past doctors (in some kind of limbo ghost form) the tenth and the eleventh must work out differences in order to defeat a man who is themselves.

    Well, that's my guess anyway.

  3. To me, from the ninth doctor to the eleventh, it has been an excellent progression of the character's age. From the ninth stating "I'm getting old" to the tenth realizing he was not what he once was ("I am so old now. I used to have so much mercy"). I agree with Vamp that the end of time really hits the nail on the head as the doctor learns how old he is and it really shows. The reflection of his life is really hitting the character now, hence why in my view, the eleventh hates looking back (in particular with his last incarnation) so if I was a betting man I would say the 50th anniversary special is going to be about those two in particular (with flashes of his past) and how the eleventh has to let go what happened to him in his tenth end, for him / them to win the day.

  4. The only bad point I have to say about the episode is the fact it did not feel like a series ender - just a bog standard great episode like the girl who waited (although that is not a bad thing to say the least).I thought the question was great though and its nice to see Steven Moffatt work everyone with just how simple it was - that goes for the whole episode too.We also find out (to a degree) where the eleventh will fall... nice, very nice. Love it that are making the final build up for the Eleventh Doctor and not for the actor because in my view, the End of Time (which was awesome btw, loved it) was written not for the end of the Tenth Doctor, it was written for the end of David Tennant playing the Doctor.Roll on next year.

  5. At the end of the episode I just kept thinking he was almost like the Valeyard.

Well the Valeyard was created during the Doctor's 12th and 13th incarnations and it could be used that Smith's Doctor is actually the 12th, so maybe...just maybe we know who the main villian for next season is.

Anyway, what a bloody good ending to last night's episode! A price will be paid and hell is going to break lose. I have got the idea that this "darkness" which is coming to cause the end of time will use the Master as his means to do it, so the master comes back as a ghost maybe.

  6. Let us remember a man that nobody in the wrestling business had a bad word to say about because of his warm and gentle nature that has been expressed via the columns on WWE.com.Let John Tenta also be a inspiration as a man who battled cancer and never gave up even at the very end where the illness was critical but he sure as hell did not go without a fight! Thanks Earthquake - Natural Disaters ruled!

  7. Metal Slug 1-5/X via Neo Geo emulator. Myself and friend, pad each, ten credits, see how far we get. Great fun

We have Metal Slug 2 for the office MVS cabinet. It rules. On my own, I can get to stage 5 on one credit. My record's about 1,600,000, I think. :smug:

    Final Fantasy X (PS2)

I gave up on finding the Cacti
Finding them's easy! Beating them isn't. If you want a challenge, try going back to the village you start in.I'm currently playing Metroid Prime and Resident Evil Zero, both on GC. Metroid Prime's fun and very addictive but a bit vacuous. I'm currently stalled on the last boss. But it will die. Soon. :angry:Resi Zero's OK but really just more of the same. The design feels a bit lazy in places. If you played the earlier games, you'll like this, and if you didn't, you won't. Resi 4's in the post.Anyone played Devil May Cry 3? Any thoughts? I think I probably need to pick it up.
Devil may cry 3 is awesome if you like mindless gore and violance with a rocking soundtrack!I am playing Star War Episode III that came out today, it's cool and you can do some really neat things with the light saber. I am looking forward to unlocking the two player duals and bonus misson where you play as Darth Vader
