Maybe untalented is unfair but they certainly don't feel ready to be rubbing shoulders with the likes of Polo/Coffeys/Jester/Sha etc 

Kreiger needs a gimmick overhaul his gear is dreadful, Kid Fite needs a niche I don't understand what he is meant to be, Dickie Divers likewise. The "gangster" group is ropey as fuck. 

I was at the most recent set of ICW tapings (which I think is now free on their Facebook) and they have a segment involving a female stripper that was pulled right out of Benny Hill. Wasn't very entertaining either (though a damn sight more fun than the worst promo / segment I have ever witnessed live in Joe Hendry that night).

 

ICW just feels confused to me. - lot of ideas are like ones that would surfice during the Attitude era and the swearing etc feels just forced. Whilst on the other hand they are also trying to put on matches with 'workrate' to appease other fans. I just don't get what they are supposed to be. 

Likewise, they employ some very untalented wrestlers in positions well above their station who are kept on out of sympathy Im guessing. 

They are still using Manchester as an excuse on their Facebook as of yesterday when someone asked why the last shows were cancelled ....

As far as I know, we haven't had any fans who couldn't get refunds on travel arrangements or at least rearrange the dates of those arrangements. I think that's because we cancelled weeks in advance. 

You're 100% right, it would have been faulty decision making to sell tickets to a venue that we didn't know would be open, it's one of the reasons we moved the dates back so far - to give us the confidence that would be open and thankfully Manchester Arena opens later this month I believe.

The thing is, Manchester Arena isn't just any arena, it's the biggest indoor arena in the UK and we had scheduled the final of our 30 week tournament to take place at the Arena, as part of our biggest show of the year. We have major plans for that event and being in Manchester is all part of it.

I don't think there's much else I can say, Martin. Hopefully, over time people will realise that the rescheduling was a necessary setback and we'll do our best to more than make it up to the fans when the shows start in February."

Quick story and question 

 

Chatted to this girl for a couple of weeks, finally went out at the the weekend had a great time. She text me the next day saying what a great time she had etc. Bit more quiet on the Sunday, even more so next day and then for a day nothing. Text earlier today doing the old "how are you?" And again nothing.

 

Half tempted to just say- you're obviously not interested, was nice meeting you but then don't want to be a dick. Also not going to hang around if she's not interested.

It could be yeah. Her reply was "really?" Then never expanded upon. Again lots of asking about a girl who she knows who has asked me out before (I wasn't interested in her) - she asks about her nearly every day around how much we speak and if she has texted me.

I dunno if it's just me but if I wasn't interested in someone I wouldn't ask that, unless it's to set me up with her.

It's been a while since I've met someone who makes you think about them all the time, a little while ago I did but didn't really know her - we work together.

 

Long story short, we got chatting as she seemed down one day, and she told me a few things that were getting her down, we chatted via Facebook about a sports place we would have a common interest in and she gave me her number.

 

We text on and off - quite a bit early on (this is over a two week period). She would often ask me if there's anyone I liked whicn initially I was blasé about.

In the lead up to the Xmas party she was saying she wanted to hang out with me, and what not - party came and she ignored me all night. I thought I'd just leave it ... Then she started being all friendly again, she again brought up people who I may or may not fancy and I just told her straight up that I liked her and would like to get to know her. Her reply was that was flattered. Nothing has really moved on from this, still friendly and the odd text - - not sure if I should just leave it or just ask her out... However, not sure I want to do that and be turned down when we work together.

She's quite inexperienced with dating having been with someone for a long time up until 2 years ago.

* $3.4 million is owed to Aeroluxe & the Fight Network alone, this is after the Fight Network has bought / been given some of the tape library too

 

* They have 2 outstanding lawsuits - the Corgan one and "Audience of One" a firm who set up 2 tapings last year and still haven't been paid. Corgan's also includes a personal loan to Dixie Carter for an unspecified amount

 

* They also owe substantial back tax to the Tennessee government

 

* It is pay day today for the roster, word going round is that there is not enough or no funds to pay anyone, and several wrestlers will start negotiating with New Japan/WWE citing breach of contract

m and MCC Acquisitions is listed at $3.4 million. TNA has already sold some of its tape library to Anthem.

 

 

So some tape library is sold (Anthem is a subsidiary of the Fight Network who paid for latest tapings/Bound for Glory) and they are $3.4 mill in the hole, the debt would transfer too upon any takeover. Rumour is that Corgans injunction was to stop Dixie from going bankrupt.

I remember the early days of 1PW too well, when Steven hired him to book two or three matches, two of which were to include a couple of "good UK indie guys". What does Pete do? Book every fucking sod who e-mailed him, even a Nigerian Prince who needed $1mil to escape from his captors. Rumours of Brad Flash vs. Viagra NOW man were unfounded however.

I just wanted to say thankyou so much to every single person that came up and spoke to me before, during and after the show. Both myself and Rosie were genuinely tocuhed by the showing of support and kindess that we got.
