  1. Is it possible to buy New Japan tickets outside the country?

I land early morning on the 18th July, just in time for their 3-night stint at Korakuen Hall. I want to guarantee that i make it to at least one night.

  2.

So I went a little OTT when it came to paintings for my new apartment. They're not all wrestling related but I think you may appreciate the ones that are. Apologies, it's a link to a facebook album. I have no idea how to embed them at a decent size on here!

Clough and Taylor is ace. The teacher is a bit weird! The Davey Boy one isn't great, as mentioned but the rest are fantastic. Great job. You live in Vietnam or just visited?

To be fair, the original photo of Owen and Bulldog has Davey looking rather dim witty and cross eyed, the painting is actually one of my favourites. The Warrior painting is the one I'm in awe of - truly remarkable detail, even as far as the sweat glimmering off his chest. The Bret Hart painting is the one I'm most disappointed with. Although it's life like, it's too dark and looks out of place amongst the others.

And, come on, how can you not love Mr. G!?!? Get watching some Summer Heights High, fantastic comedy.

I've lived in Vietnam (Saigon) for the past six-years; it's pretty much home now. The paintings are ridiculously cheap, ranging from around £20 - £30.

    Are they completely hand painted??

Hand painted, yes. The trick is that they print the picture to the canvas first then do a paint by numbers kinda job. Regardless, the finished product is fantastic. I'm always amazed by the range of detail one can produce with a brush and three primary colours!

  3. Hey guys, long time member who reads the UKFF everyday but, in my voyeuristic nature, tend to just watch from afar as opposed to 'joining in' and giving my own two cents.

I fly to the U.S on Sunday with a planned 3-month sport binge ahead of me. Mostly it's basketball I'm going for but I also have tickets for the Memphis PPV, next night's Raw and also Mania weekend in the San Fran area. The plan is to blog about my travels as I go. In preparation I've started said blog with a few postings about some of my previous sporting escapades.

I've just finished a post about our beloved pro wrestling - http://www.iloveroundballs.com If you fancy some wrestling nostalgia then humour me by having a read.

Mods, if this is against house rules, feel free to delete. i just thought, if I can't shill it in a pro wrestling forum, where can I!

Oh...and ignore the part about wrestling fans being a 'strange bunch'. I wasn't talking about us cool cats, of course! I

  4. Thanks air_raid, all really good stuff. Yeah, I fly into Tokyo but hope to get around and see as much of the country as possible. I literally booked it on a whim so, although I've always wanted to visit Japan, I have no real idea (bar the wrestling) on what I want to do there. Thanks for the link!

  5. Hey guys, I've just booked three weeks in Japan this coming October (I live in Vietnam and Air Asia had a deal - via Kuala Lumpur, under 200 pounds return!!). So, taking the Mrs and planning on seeing the sights and, of course, plenty of pro wrestling. Now, I've tried using the search engine but when I type anything in I just seem to get a return of, well, every bloody topic ever! I know that some of you have taken the trip yourselves and in the past there has been some really interesting write ups regarding not only the wrestling but the whole Japan experience. I'd really appreciate if someone could link me to these past threads, they would be really useful to read. Also, if anyone is is willing to drop me a line with any tips, please do! Thanks in advance.Blue
