  1. I don't really play on the UKFF, although I may be interested in it, but I do play similar games elsewhere. I think the comparison to D&D is pretty fair, they are certainly within in a similar sphere, Chris B. I think you're a bit worried about admitting your geeky interests, embrace it!

Loki, in a tounge-in-cheek way you paint a somewhat accurate picture of the game. It's not hoods and fake spells in your mam's basement, but it's something similar. Give it a shot if you want.

  2. I love women who're unconventionally attractive. I mean, I like generic looking tarts, too, but when they're a bit offbeat and I'm into it it drives me crazy. If I'm cracking onto them I just can't wait to get my hands on 'em there and then, they just sort me out in a different way.

Shout out if anyone else agrees?

  3. I raised concerns about your need to clarify David's religious status which you seem to have ignored. I have not been commenting on this broadcast. We were not debating, as you offered no counter to my queries.

I have no idea if he has a point or what to be honest, he's just telling everyone that he's won debates with them.

  4. If someone made a homophobic comment at work and I called them out on it, they may respond "Why, are you gay?" In this situation, I may not answer that question.

By not answering, it plays on their bigoted notion that people offended by homophobia must also be gay. It prevents them from refusing to deal with the objection as they put down the complaint as being "because they are a queer, so they took offence." Finally, it emphasises that the debate is not between the groups of sexuality, but between many individuals each with their own values and perspective that deserve to be dealt with.

It's the same here, David is demonstrating that the debate does not require him to declare his religious beliefs, only that his arguments be dealt with.

PRO TIP: If the next time someone exposes an opinion you instantly have to enquire if they are a part of the targeted group then you are probably indeed prejudiced.
