Who's training school was it that was featured when the ginger girl finally decided to get to a pro school?Other thoughts,I disagree with those who say that this has killed British Wrestling, I'm sure the majority of viewers will see that program for what it is and can distinguish between a company with a ring (pro) and those without (backyard).Annoyed me to see dropkixx trainees clapping and 'marking out' for the moves that Selby and Burch were doing at the school. It backed up the concept that they were 'Legends' because if the Pro's are showing you respect for the stuff you are doing then you must be good. If you get what I mean.Another Dropkixx point, when James Burch's dad tells Frank Rimer:"I get worried when they do the suplexes"and Frank Replies..."It's ok, as long as they can fall properly it's all okay. Basically discredits the whole training process of Professional Wrestlers, putting across the image that if you train for an hour and learn how to fall then thats all it takes to be a Pro, and you'll never get hurt anymore in the Backyard.However, I wouldn't be surprised if Franks comment was edited in such a way that it was taken out of context. I do know what he was trying to say though.Overall a well made documentry......On a related note, we were told at college to watch the program for a Communication Studies project relating to gang initiation/violence....I now await the backlash from those at college who know I work in the business. It'll be interesting to see if they tar me with the Backyard brush or can identify that I am in the Pro sector....
