It's a hangout for "different", "misunderstood" teens who reinforce each others' differentness and misunderstoodness by being similar and understanding each other, of course its users kill themselves sometimes because they'll reinforce that tendency where it exists. The same thing would happen if those same people met offline. To draw any kind of definite link is like saying that 99% of suicides in the UK have watched at least 1 episode of East Enders, therefore East Enders is to blame. That thought never occurs to those who want to make the association between something new and something bad. I've no doubt that there are murders of people who've met online - there was that manslaughter recently of a strangulation fetishist who died in a sex game with someone they'd met on an adult contacts site that was presented as murder by the press - but the same is true with people who meet via personal ads, through friends or in night clubs. On Saturday, I'm meeting some bird I met online for the first time. I have no doubt I'll still be here on Sunday.I believe there's been a few Myspace suicides, though...

Well, the tabloids did get a murder trial thrown out in the early 90s with prejudicial reporting IIRC. They were a pair of nice looking female twins, though, so it was all in the public interest. So they've not charged the shift-working, unlicenced cab-driving, MySpace-using loner with the creepy looking mugshot? How could everyone's pre-conceived idea of what a murderer is like be so wrong?Apparantly the Attorney General has warned the media about publishing things which could prejudice a future trial.

Well, I took it as a joke but you are right. I fancied someone, they lied a lot, led me on and I spent a lot of money on them until I realised I was being lied to and used. It must have happened to a lot of people. With the Russian girl, I've got no way of knowing whether she was telling the truth. The point I was making is that there are different sides to the sex industry; there are addicts doing it out of desperation, there are trafficked sex slaves but there are also people, especially foreign girls, doing it by choice as a way to make a lot of money quickly.I see what you are saying. But if you read his original post, he actually admits to being " bled dry " by a stripper because he was naive. He then follows up with this comment for a Russian lady that he apparantly believed without question. I wasn't intending to be smug or insulting. Further more, my reply was a single word. You read a lot into that!

Sorry if I'm repeating stuff that's already been said, I've not been following the thread.I've had first hand experience of being bled dry by strippers (I'm naive and tend not to pre-judge people so I can get ripped off sometimes); prostitutes may be the same but that's not something I've had any experience with other than chatting with a Russian escort who was in London for six months, willingly on her own terms, earning money so she could go home and go to college. The image being portrayed of vulnerable drug addicts helplessly being exploited by evil, dirty old men isn't accurate for all but the lowest rung of sex workers. I'm concerned the murders are going to result in a mess of hurriedly-made, bad new laws making things worse. Already the debate over clamping down on punters has started on the news channels - good timing, it's really encouraging the kerb crawlers to go to the police with information, isn't it...?It's been mentioned that it could be someone known to the girls. That raises the possibility that it's not a sexual predator but someone like a pimp or drug dealer taking care of some business, or even a religious-type community worker punishing sinners.

It looks like Elizar stopped updating it then allowed the domain registration to expire, so the registrar he bought it from has made it point to some pay-per-click ads.The site itself is still there at http://www.elisar.homecall.co.uk/wrestlinggirls/ but, obviously, there's nothing new on it.What happened to wrestlinggirls.co.uk?

It's a show on Discovery Channel where they re-create urban myths, TV/movie scenes and those stories that circulate by email. From the show they did re-doing scenes from Jaws:Am I wrong for thinking that the Wolverine Claw somehow makes her more attractive?(What is Mythbusters, btw?)

Does Mick Foley's official web site - the one done to look like a carnival - still exist, and if so what's the address?

Half the sentence deliberately used the wrong similar-sounding words. I guess subtlety doesn't always work on forums.I see you spelt the word "quite" wrong, dbax.EDIT - Apologies, Mighty LC, it was too early. I see what you were pointing out. Sorry.

Failed model.
Failed actress.
Failed singer.
Currently earning a living as eye-candy on a game show.
Has a personality more abrasive than a rasp that's been wrapped in sandpaper and squirted with Cif.
The only things she's ever done well in her entire life are shagging celebrities, winding up the other contestants on a reality show and being a countess, none of which require great talent.
But I love her anyway.
