  1. Been watching the Bank of Dave programmes. Dave Fishwick is the fucking man, isn't he? One of the best things Channel 4 have done in a long time, mainly because of the charming Mr Fishwick.

He's seemingly one of the nicest and soundest people ever. A superstar.

I thought from the adverts for it I was going to hate him. He IS the fucking man. Just one of life's genuine good people.

  2. Just back from Guns N'Roses in Dublin. Anyone that is seeing them the rest of the tour is in for a treat. They played nearly 3 hours and although he has hurt his leg Axl was in great form. Long may that continue!

  3. Kids these days, Ian. They don't know what it's like to have to work for a wank. There was no just switching on the PC, flicking to RedTube, and being immediately able to yank your plank. You had to scour TV & Satellite Monthly, looking to see if there were any Shannon Tweed films on, or maybe Peep! with Verona Felbusch on RTL2. If they weren't on, you were stuffed unless Henry & June was getting one of its weekly showings on Sky Movies Plus.

You are so right about the youth of today having it easy. I'm sure I wasn't the only one who was their school's porn king. It helped that I looked about 18 as a 14 year old so would buy copies of Parade magazine for about

  4. Thought seeing some are waiting on PowerSlam's Top 50 of the year that the cricket fan's might like All Out Cricket Magazines version of it -

Thoughts? I can only assume they have used some kind of PS criteria including on the mic to place Sangakkara at number 2 possibly for his pipe-bomb at the MCC Spirit Of Cricket lecture during the Summer, I suppose you could nit-pick some of the lesser numbers and I would probably have put Kallis slightly lower down the list as well but it doesn't read to bad.

  5. Has anyone managed to pick up Powerslam today? I called in WH Smiths and a small newsagent in the town what usually sell it but it was no where to be seen.

Mine arrived in the post today, dates have changed next one available 7th July.

  6. I mentioned in another thread I was watching all the Nitros from late 1996 onwards. Am I right in thinking that at sometime (possibly the first Souled Out) when the WCW wrestlers were coming to the ring the NWO voice would come out with things like 'Loser' over the top of their music? Or have I had a really strange wrestling dream?

  7. Bit of a vague question here maybe one for the figure collectors. Seen a loose figure today that had 'WWE and 2004" on the bottom of the foot. The figure had a red line under the eyes and on the top of each bicep. I couldn't place who it was any ideas?

Any more info, like hair and/or skin colour?

I'm thinking Heidenreich, Jindrak or Cade.

Just trawled through every wrestling figure website for about two hours. Was Tatanka!

  8. Bit of a vague question here maybe one for the figure collectors. Seen a loose figure today that had 'WWE and 2004" on the bottom of the foot. The figure had a red line under the eyes and on the top of each bicep. I couldn't place who it was any ideas?

  9. Sorry to bang on about PowerSlam again but my copy of this month's mag still hasn't showed up yet. Looking through an old issue there isn't even a number to ring up and say that he never arrived. My subscription hasn't ran out as i'm only 2 issues into it. Any ideas how to contact them or dare I send an email to the address for the letters page?

  10. A few questions if anyone can help:

1, I know quite a few people here keep statistics on wrestling and I was wondering has anyone worked out the average length of Edge's reigns as either WWE champion?

2, A few years ago in CZW Tournament Of Death Necro Butcher fought Zandig. I'm sure that wasn't the original match announced, can anyone remember who Butcher was due to fight?

3, Have any PowerSlam subscribers received this months issue yet as mine hasn't arrived.

    Cheers
