Are they both completed transactions? I had 2 charges showing on Paypal when I first opened my account but one just sat "pending" and no actual money left my bank account.

Yeah both say completed and both amounts took from bank. Its a strange one, i'm wondering if it works like a Sky bill, first month is a double bill then paying in advance? May just see what it's like next month and if same thing happens again i'll just cancel

I've been billed $10.66 twice, which has worked out at £7.03 but totalling £14.06 :S

Hi I've now signed up for the network, can use perfectly fine on android with the Hola app, I have a HTC M8, and also a Samsung Tab 3, both work great with Hola.

Have a question though, I've scrolled back and cant seem to find an answer although it has been spoken about.

I have a PS4, created an American account and got the WWE App on the American store.

I've then signed out and logged into my normal UK account and attempted to start the WWE app, and it said it is blocked. (as in the actual app, not the content within the app).

Has anyone else encountered that?

Do the DNS settings need to be changed first just to access the app? I've not yet attempted to mess with any DNS setting on the PS4, so I realise I may be going wrong with that, I just thought it was abit strange the actual app being blocked and not the content

ITV has confirmed that it has cancelled Dapper Laughs - On the Pull.

The comedy dating show will not return for a second series after the internet personality was accused of making sexist and misogynistic comments on both his ITV2 show and Twitter account.

ITV issued the following statement: "We have given careful thought to the recent criticism of the character Dapper Laughs, which has focused on his activities outside of the ITV2 programme, whose content was carefully considered and complied. 

"We have taken the decision that we will not be considering this show for a second series."

A petition to have the show cancelled by ITV was launched over the weekend, and attracted more than 4,000 signatures in 24 hours. It now has more than 63,000 supporters.

Earlier today, Dapper Laughs, whose real name is Daniel O'Reilly, apologised to those who were offended by his remarks. 

A live show at the Cardiff University Students' Union was also cancelled last week (November 5), after a petition was signed by 700 students who objected to Dapper Laughs trivialising "rape, unprotected sex and dehumanising of women".

I got around to watching Punisher Warzone last night.

I actually really liked it. Miles more gory and graphic than I was expecting it to be, so I guess that helped with my enjoyment of it. Nice to see McNulty from The Wire and Julie Benz

The psychic lady (aka Liz from Teachers) was in it before as an air stewardess in the "woman steals the doctor's voice" episode.

 

For someone who's supposedly physically attractive, Michelle Ryan sure does lack charisma.

She came across as a bit too pleased with herself.

 

Maybe being the Bionic Woman has corrupted her acting ability.

She seemed okish in her brief appearances on Merlin

Anyway who cares? She has a truly amazing arse.

I have started watching Battlestar Galactica. About 7 episodes into season 1 and it had a strong start and seems to be growing into something really special. I know alot of people love it, and while just know I only just really like it I can definitely see it becoming a favorite if the episodes keep getting better and better like they have so far.

 

It's amazing and I'm surprised there's not a thread for it on here to be honest. The final ever episode is tonight so I recommend you picking up the full box set when it's all over.

Apparently BBC2 have got the rights to show The Wire.

They are apparently showing season 1-5 over the space of 3 weeks.

I've never seen the Wire before but I'll definitely be watching due to all the amazing things i've heard about it. Hope it's sometime soon, it's still "TBC" when it's airing.

Also watched the mini series/pilot of Battlestar Galactica due to a friend giving me the dvd. Have to say, I really enjoyed it.

I've just bought The Soprano's season1 too and shall be watching them over the next few days or so. It's another series i've never seen before but got due to the high praise.

Also downloaded the pilot episode of DollHouse, which I'm quite anxious to watch. Might give that a go this evening.

First episode is very mediocre (as most pilots are in my opinion), but it get the job done in establishing the characters and the premise of the show. Not boring but not great.

Second episode is alot better and delves into thing alot deeper and is more action packed.

Im currently downloading the ep. I'm a Joss Whedon Geek, so I'll trust that this is going to become amazing like the rest of his show over time

It's just becoming ridiculous. Like you said, what characters are we supposed to get behind anymore? Every seems to have turned heel once or twice and i've actually lost count and the stupid stories just confuse me. Not in a "lost makes me think about the past episodes till it clicks" type of way, just confusing in the fact that i'm struggling to myself just why i still watch this shit.

It seems every time they run out of ideas on the show, they attempt a reboot and rehash of series one story archs. Without reading up on anything I genuinely don't know if Peter still had his powers or not..Until he started tenetikally throwing people around on the plane. And then of course their is the whole "OMG PETER HOLD ON TO SOMETHING YOU MIGHT FALL OUT OF THE PLANE".....YOU CAN FUCKING FLY PETER, you dont need to hold on So yeah it's shit like this that make me personally start to hate it.

I'll continue to watch it though until it gets cancelled as a series, which will most likely be after this one

Don't really want to start a new thread over this but feel we need a wide opinion on it! The new season of Lost is starting tonight in the US and the new season of 24 started 2 weeks ago! Obviously we have people watching one or both of these shows and so have discussion threads for both! The one thing that bothers me is the fact that the 24 thread is UK pace with US pace spoilers in spoiler tags, where as the Lost thread is the other way around! Maybe it's me being anal, but does this strike anyone else as not making any sense? I'd be worried that some one would go from the 24 thread after watching on Sky one knowing that thread is safe for them as the spoilers from the US airing are hidden, and would then go into the Lost thread thinking exactly the same! Obviously there is no need for two threads for each show, but surely in the interest of userbility we would be better having some form of consistency?

 

Anyone else have any thoughts or am I just being anal?

To be honest yeah I pretty much agree, as an avid follower of both I watch at Sky pace on both shows. i only ever download or watch show via stream site, that are a good few months worth or waiting away. Such as Dexter season 3 for example.

It's an utterly amazing hauntingly beautiful story and excellently acted in by all involved.

Watched Get Smart last night. Didn't expect much from it, but i ended up loving it, very funny and action scenes were cool. I've now found a big love for Anne Hathaway from the movie. Christ she's hot. Steve Carrel was great as was The Rock (I refuse to call him Duane Johnson dammit...he'll always be The Rock)Also went to see Eden Lake today aswell, it was utterly terrible. The acting, the story everything about it. It's one of the worst films I've seen over the past few years. I get the point that "the message it was trying to send out about today's yoot". But no, it failed on every level. Utterly horrendous waste of money and time. It's films like this that make me support piracy.

As a massive fan of the books I found it dissapointing. Open casting for the first few films has come back to bite them in the arse as some of the child performances as absolutely awful (Emma Watson) whilst the whole thing lacks energy and is horribley edited and directed. Also it diverts and cuts from the book to many times.
