  1. The full show replay isn’t on the app on my Samsung TV either. I’ve got the show on now but I’ve had to plug my laptop into my tv to watch it!

The full show is on the app on iOS devices but can’t be cast (unlike other WWE shows which can be).

I’ve had faff like this with BT with football in the past. I’m hoping it’s just a temporary oversight while they get in sync with the network’s 7 day delay. I fear it might be a deliberate ploy.

It really is vintage WWE to turn fans off of their best product by heaping on additional cost and hassle.

No that's the length of the ladder match. On the app it breaks the shows down into segments. If you tap on your screen and then where is says "6 person ladder match" it will show you the other parts. Theres only 3 segments on this episode due to Gargano/Ciampa wrestling for eternity.

Ah yes, I see now. Thanks so much.

The latest episode is up on the BT app in full along with previous weeks and Raw/Smackdowns. Just go to the WWE page and scroll down to Full Event Replays and they are all there.

Cheers, I saw that but when I click on it it only starts a 32 min programme. I’m assuming it’s either an error or BT only have rights to show highlights after the initial 24 hours.

  4. This switch to a 7 day delay for NXT is a disaster. I also have BT Sport app but the most recent episode is not on there either (only highlights). Currently seems like there will be a dead period where the episode is unavailable to watch anywhere in the UK for several days. I’ve e-mailed the network to ask if this is a mistake. Let’s see what they say.

With the rumours that PPVs will come off the network, NXT would be the one thing keeping me. However if this 7 day delay persists I’m tempted to do the unthinkable and cancel my sub. It would be a wrench to lose Takeovers but AEW is brilliant so maybe I could make do with just that.

    What are you watching on?

Roku has it where on the Home screen press down 4 times and you should be on ‘Every WWE Pay-Per-View Ever’ and they’re in chronological order, or go to the ‘WWE PPV’, and literally the first thing it highlights is the most recent PPV, scroll right to go back in chronological order

I’m using an iPhone. Under WWE PPVs the sections are ‘Jump Into Extreme Rules’, ‘2019 PPVs’, ‘Current PPVs’, ‘Retired PPVs’, ‘PPV Related Shows’ and ‘Editor’s Choice’. The Current and Retired PPVs seems to be the main way they want you to explore the full archive and this is by PPV name. Who the fuck can remember the order of minor PPVs like Over The Limit, Fatal Four Way etc?!

I know it’s only a 2 min task to go to another website to get a chronological list of shows but it can’t be good business to drive people to go elsewhere.

  6. What do people reckon to the Amazon Fire Stick? I currently airplay through Apple TV which works but is a bit of a faff (1st world problem I know!). Wondering whether the Amazon app would be better? Is it worth spending £40 on a fire stick?

Hi. I wonder if anyone can please help me? Been hearing lots of good things about Progress (late to the game I know!) and thought I’d subscribe and check out some shows over Christmas. However when I try viewing on an iPad via the Safari browser the picture jumps regularly.

Has anyone else had this issue? Is their an app I can watch from? I don’t have any issues when streaming other content so the problem isn’t the device or connection.

Not sure if anyone else has had the same issues as me but it turns out it’s a major issue with IOS11 affecting many, but not all, users. Video playback in all major browsers and some apps is jumpy. Apple still haven’t fixed it in the 3 months since IOS11 was released. The workaround I have found is to use the Aloha browser, which plays videos fine.

I’ve been watching the ECW documentaries on the network (rise & fall & ECW Exposed) and have been tempted to watch from the beginning (ish).

My question is they have 2/3 of the supercards from before the PPV era, and wondering what the chances are of getting them on the network? Do they have access to them etc?

I've recently started watching ECW from the beginning on the network. It is frustrating that so few of the pre-PPV supercards are on there. You can find the odd match from YouTube / Daily Motion.

A few months back I read Joey Styles saying they were planning to get some more of the supercards on the network, which suggests WWE has the rights to them. Alas no timescales though. I wonder if they are concerned that the picture quality was poor for some shows?

  10. Due to the time difference between UK and USA, AJ Styles' title win on Smackdown last night was broadcast on a few hours delay. Does anyone know the last time the WWE Title changed hands that wasn't broadcast live on tv or PPV?

Whatever the answer those are definitely some lucky fans who got to witness it!

  11. Recently subscribed to NJPW World and been enjoying following the Tag League. In these tourneys, can anyone tell me what happens if two or more wrestlers/teams are tied at the top of their block? How do they decide which progresses to the final?

  12. Just caught up with the NXT special. I think it's pretty much unanimous that Banks v Lynch was a very good and thoroughly enjoyable match. What I really want to establish though is whether popular opinion has this as the greatest woman's match in WWE history? To that end who says yes and who says no? If you think no, which WWE woman's match(es) do you think were better?

  13. I've managed to get WWE Network running on my Apple TV. However I've had to change my country to USA and use the WWE Network app directly on Apple TV. Using Airplay to mirror from my phone or ipad just results in playback dropping out every minute or two.

My picture still isn't great. Trying to work out if this is because I only have regular broadband, and whether to use this as the excuse to upgrade to fibre! Could anyone watching on a fibre internet confirm whether the network runs perfectly for them?

  14. So I bought Apple TV to try to watch the network on my lounge tv, but the show doesn't play for more than a minute or two before dropping out entirely. Would really appreciate if anyone can offer any suggestions?

  15. Ok. So I signed up for the network this afternoon - awesome! However I've discovered that the network is only supported by Samsung smart tvs / blu rays from 2013 onwards. My smart blu ray is from 2012 - sucks to be me! I also have an iPhone. Can anyone recommend any apps I can download which will "project" the network from my phone to my blu ray player? I've read that buying Apple TV or a Roku stick is an option, but would prefer to avoid more hardware if possible.

  16. As part of the build up to WK9 I've been poking around the New Japan World website. I notice that they have 26 shows in the archive for last year and that these are irregularly timed throughout the year. As someone who knows very little about Japanese wrestling, can someone please tell me are these all the shows that NJPW put on last year? Are these PPVs, tv shows, a mix etc.? Is there no standard episodic weekly tv show? Don't get me wrong, I've no issue with this approach. Just curious whether this is a cultural difference. Perhaps Japanese viewers aren't so fussed about having to chase shows around the schedules??

  17. I understand this is the internet age, but I shouldn't have to risk some dodgy streaming website to watch one of the biggest shows of the year.

Pay for the WWE Network then. Or get the free trial, it's still going on til this weekend.

I didn't think the network was available in the UK yet? I heard Sky weren't going to allow the PPVs to be shown on it for us.

  18. Apologies for being somewhat late on this but... just been catching up on the last few weeks WWE tv I have recorded. Am I right in saying that NXT Arrival hasn't been broadcast in the UK? That would be the show I've watched weeks of NXT hyping up to? The show with a supposed match of the year candidate on it? Most of all the show on which a British wrestler wins the main title?

Unless I've missed something, this is an absolutely appalling decision by WWE. I came to this thread expecting to see page after page of people shitting all over this. I understand this is the internet age, but I shouldn't have to risk some dodgy streaming website to watch one of the biggest shows of the year.

  19. As a wrestling fan, my immediate instinct was that this was all a work to promote a future bout between the two. Have my years of wrestling fandom warped my view of reality!? Obviously I don't mean that it was completely scripted, just that the two boxers had secretly agreed the general concept beforehand.
