John was the first "superstar" wrestler that I ever met , must have been about 12 or 13 in my local town hall and I shouted through the window hours before the show and since no other fans where there they alowed me in and he made every effort to make it a positive experience making small talk and everything whilst signing an autograph. He laughed when i recounted the story to him years later in a dressing room. A genuinely nice, softly spoken family man who allways had time for fans and his extended family within the wrestling business.Thank you John for being one of the few decent guys in a business where manys authenticity is questionable.RIP

with all this talk of a meet up , would an idea not be to meet in times square before the Hall of Fame dinner. We could meet at hotel reception then all go for Pizza or something. Then when we get into the dinner we could have like a "ukff table" lol.erm ....bringing up a valid point, what will the seating arrangment and staging be like at the dinner.

as far as hotels around heathrow. The night before i moved to Canada I stayed in the Travel in , it was huge and thought it was very good. Plus only a few mins bus ride away and the bus was like every 5 mins. Roll on WrestleMania !! 3rd row baby !!!!!!!!!PS , as a non travel package holder (i just have a regular ringside ticket) what other wrestle mania event can i go to over the weekend and how do i get tickets. There doesnt seem to be much info on the website and im hoping you guys might know something regarding other wrestlemania weekend events. Plus for any one looking for cheap acomodation in NYC id recomend the Big Apple HOstel, its like 30 bucks and only 15 mins walk from the garden , like 1 min from Times Square.
