the doctor has been travelling for 200 years since he dropped off Amy and Rory.

he could have made many many flesh versions of himself in that time, didn't he state it was and amazing thing that they were about to witness when he first saw the vat of flesh?

I always get confused when people say the Doctor weaponizes his companions, he though taking them on a sightseeing tour of the galaxy and time shows them how to fight back against whatever threat is posed to them, he doesn't want them to fight, but by travelling with him they see it a sacrifice worth making?

The Doctor must realise that ALL humans eventually die, its the ride between cot and coffin that matters. By him not taking them along they live longer, but was it as much fun, was it worth it? I mean just because they don't travel with him doesn't mean the darleks, cybermen, seadevils or whatever won't kill them anyway..

Also the whole losing faith in the Doctor was done before with Ace and the McCoy doctor.

Was Ponds' Faith in the Doctor true faith? Pond knows the Doctor is smart and can come up with solutions with any problems, not like a thing "luck" or "god" the Doctor is corporeal and can effect the real world.

May 21st was said to be the solar maximum of this current cycle which they are basing this theory on. Thing is, the solar maximum was originally predicted as being May 21st next year, and now it's been put back to between January and May 2013. Another theorist who doesn't have a clue about space.

I wear glasses and my eyes struggle with the 3d, it seems to strain them and make them water and give me a headache.

I think i had the most trouble at ice age 3, maybe they were still breaking in the 3d tech?

Really enjoyed Matt Smith's first outing. I was another not really looking forward to it because it could go either way and I thought David Tennant was fantastic so I was pleased that I got into the episode and his incarnation of the Doctor pretty quickly, Amy Pond seems promising too. The episode seemed to move at a 100mph and so did Matt Smiths dialogue at times, I think he's brought out a new energy, the quicker pace was a good way to move on from David Tennant as well as they could. He does seem a bit wackier and clumsier. Still seems to have that slightly cocky edge Tennant had towards the end, especially at the end when he warned the giant eye thing away

 

Unlike a lot I actually really liked the new theme, seems a bit darker.

 

The only thing I didn't really get in the episode was the "corner of your eye" stuff and the whole Amy not seeing the door/room with Prisoner Zero in. How that was so and what that was all about seemed to pass me by.

the doctor, martha and jack used these filters (tardis parts on a neck chain?) in the year that didnt happen with the master and the killer orbs, they dont interact with you so dont "exist" to you. and theres on on the lift in torchwood
