How good is wrestle me?! The WM 8 one detailing all the back story was hilariousÂ
Agreed...though I get the feeling that the first episode that had no matches discussed meant that the third one was rushed a little. I love the disdain for Sid and I was in agreement that with fresh eyes that Savage-Flair match was pretty special.

"Tell a story: Make it entertaining" 🤣
If only...it's us as viewers who are in the fecking wasteland! Seeing all those teams in the ring truly highlights the awful nature of the tag division. Not a whole lot better on Smackers either. Was waiting for AOP to come in and smash everyone.
Also, why put Ronda on 'commentary' when she's not commenting? You could hear them trying to cue her up a couple of times to no avail but even that makes you unsure whether it's something they're telling her to do/not to do.Â
Don't know where to start on Lashley - he reminds me a bit of early New Day without the charisma.

Just watched RR92 and WM8 back to back to go alongside a couple of podcasts and my God I miss Bobby Heenan.
-
Recently listened to Becky Lynch on Lilian Garcia's podcast - I would probably listen to Becky read the dictionary to be fair but she's got a good story and told well.

Nobody thinks it does. The point was that Bret and Rey were definitely not perv bait, then it all went ladladlad as an spin off. Like a hairy handed Frasier.
Got you, thanks!

Wrestle Me reminds you of all the outrageous stuff WWE/F got away with in those days - some of it I'd forgotten and it's insane!

What on earth does it matter whether Bayley is attractive or not as to whether or not that's uncomfortable?
-
3MB are all now back on the same show...this concerns me!
So underwhelmed with the mystery partner being Roode...though with two Bobby's now on Raw, could it either mean Lashley to Smackdown or Roode reverting to the heel Robert?
-
What I meant was that I would have built one of those teams well enough for them to have meant something by the time it came around.
-
Good show with the crowd being just the right kind of hyped. No beach balls = win!
Echo the comparison of Adam Rose/No Way Jose...it'll get old fast.
I hated that Braun and the kid gave up the titles - I know they couldn't have gone on the road as champs but I feel for the other tag teams on the roster that were bumped for this one 'moment'
Felt so much for Paige, I've been a big fan of hers but she has so much going for her she'll be fine.
Ronda smashed it again - they're slowly finding the right balance with her.
Surprised by just how huge Lashley's reaction was. In a packed show, you need to stand out and I just don't see how he does that.

Give it 3 months and he’ll be the face of NXT, great GIF this.Â
This. A little lost in the shuffle last night but he's bound to be at the forefront of the revenge mission against Undisputed Era.Â

Setting up a post-WM feud between Alicia and Rousey maybe?
That was probably Alicia's aim ... the fact that this was released the The S*n makes me take this with the biggest pinch of salt though.Â

So basically NXT is everything current WWE is not.
Loved it from start to finish bravo
Pretty much. Gives you hope for when Trips is the big boss though!

I don't get a lot of the nagtivity - I thought this was close to the best Takeover yet. Five good to great matches, a great heel turn in the middle and one of the greatest stories ever told in the whole of WWE, let alone just in NXT.
Cudos to Ciampa for coming back after months out to give a performance like that and of course to Gargano for his part. The purest heel on the roster against the purest babyface and the story had me gripped from start to finish. It shows what can be done with the right characters at the right time...I think Ciampa's injury has been a blessing in disguise with how they've been able to build this story for months up to this pay off.Â
The Women's title was fifth placed in terms of quality but I enjoyed Ember's entrance with the live performance.
I have no problems with the ladder match or with Cole winning...I'm not 100% on board with him but he should be a good heel for challengers to chase after. Velveteen Dream continues to impress on Takeover shows.Â
NXT Title was excellent and again told a good story with the lovely Zelina trying to win it for Almas. I can see Almas and Vega rocking up on Smackdown this week or in the shake up.
Tag titles was all about the turn and what NXT do so well is make their turns mean something even if you're expecting them.Â
Overall, blown away by this and the future is very, very bright for WWE.

Just received three down votes including the above...is celebrating the wonder of Elias offensive to someone?
Apologies if I've upset anyone with thatÂ

At this rate, it looks like this will be the first Wrestlemania I’m not going to bother with since being able to regularly access Satellite TV in 1993.Â
In fairness, the card doesn’t look too bad on paper at all, its just that I have absoloutely no interest in the current roster whatsoever.
Is anyone else feeling the same?
(Disclaimer:Â My ramblings could turn out to be complete bollocks and I end up watching it sometime next week.)
Nope, I'm all in on this one - there's so much intrigue across the card for me.

Stove Blackman - wrestles in an apron and chefs hat. Later forms a tag team with Cooker T. Managed by Pete Gas.Â
Al Snob - decidedly average wrestler who gets sniffy with everyone elses matches and goes on about the only part of the match that matters being the finish.Â
C'Lo Brown - forget him.Â
Dolt Cabana - takes umbrage with Jericho doling out "Stupid idiot" insults, feeling he is the one true moron.Â
With Hob Holly?

The Moz - 'The Awesome One' trades in Hollywood for Manchester, suddenly becomes mizerable and instructs the Universe that meat is murder.
Baron Corbyn - In yet another shocking story, the Daily Mail reveals that Labour leader Jezza has an illegitimate son. A lone wolf, who goes around beating people up. Britain won't stand for this!
Kinder Mahal - an egg starts to turn up in arenas. It is mysterious. Nobody knows what's inside. It hangs around for months, then, one day, it begins to break open. What could be inside?
It's a smaller plastic egg. But what's in that?
Oh. It's him. Disappointing.

To be fair, there were four option on a poll and that won it - still some decent stories on there from the mid-card.
