Vampiro was shit. After three weeks Vince would have had him jerking the curtain on Metal against Headbanger Mosh.
he was pretty over in WCW so Im guessing given better production and shorter match times he could have been a strong mid card talent for the Fed
-
Does Vampiro have a better run in WWF 99-2000 if he had signed, or was his run in WCW his ceiling?
-
he should lose those awful shades he wears and the multicolored boa. Seriously why did he start wearing the boa? its as bad as when he was a face in the mid 90s with Jimmy hart as a manager
hogans a trip man but at this point its a trip not worth taking because the maps all messed up and even though the vehicle looks a little like it used to the engine is fried and theres no fucking handbrake. One day his hips are going to explode when he does that stupid circular ear cupping, crazy thing is you know deep down hes thinks hes got another title run in him
book him and Flair at 34 let them play the greatest hits. Monster sumo Truck match 2 anyone?Â

it was awesome hearing Eric say "Im glad I fired that fat Redneck" in re to the Honky Tonk Man

I've enjoyed a lot of the 83 weeks shows but Bischoff refuses to accept the word of anyone else on any issue while struggling to remember why. Despite being there, he's no authority on the subjects.
I loved hearing him tear into Liam and the dirtsheets, this is a guy that routinely gets cut to shreds on shows like SCG (mostly regurgitating Meltzers words) so yeah it was great hearing him  bury a few demons. Liam now imo needs to defend the validity of his story and take Eric to task
-
wow Eric buried Liams book bedrock deep, no vaseline either. Liam youve got to reply, just to defend the integrity of your work
Â
-
and thats coming from a huge fan of the show
-
I love hearing people shit on Meltzer, so all credit to Tony and Eric for sticking it to the ultimate mark.
While Im here that squared circle gazette wcw wwf timeline...fuck that, hey boys youre at your best when youre not regurgitating Meltzers observers and coming up with original content for your shows

what a masterclass so far from BJS
-
anyone tuning into the BJS and Lemieux fight tomorrow? should be an interesting bout
-
They cant, theyve become insane micro managers terrified of the bottom line and of their wrestlers becoming bigger than they can control
right now we should be feasting on a buffet of great moments and matches instead its almost a famine, a soulless talent sucking black hole
-
Duggan was insufferable, almost as bad as when Piper was around doing a podcast, huge marks for themselves and unable to distance themselves from their character
Sean on the other hand is just a treasure, its great to have him and Schivone backÂ

Agree on Taker. Its amazing that he got away with mucking around with Bundy, Kama, IRS, Executioner etc for what felt like decades as a kid. Sure, he had some decent stuff chucked in there but it wasnt really until he started his Mania classics streak that I actually warmed to him. There's no way a character would get away with now what Takers did in the mid 90's.
youve seen what everyone else in WWF was getting into at that point? besides a few exceptions it was all shit
-
broken Matt was always shit, and now its in the kid friendly suit sucking WWE its even shitter
law of diminishing returnsÂ

what happened to the once great Place to be nation? used to be riddled with great Podcasts but lately seems a shell of itself

New episode of Attitude Era Podcast in which they discuss King of the Ring 2001 as the start of them covering the invasion angle was enjoyable for the most, but for some reason Kefin has taken to referring to Edge as 'Eggs' and making egg related puns which he seems to think is hilarious. They also mention that they might cover the PPVs featuring the two man power trip of Austin & HHH, but seen as there was only two of those PPVs prior to this, why not just start it there?
And he still insists on crowbarring in a plug for his other How To Wrestling podcast
how dare he plug his other podcast! christ man ease up a little

def recommend the latest What happened when, the topic is Hennan and its a frank and tough listen
-
loving the Schivone What happened when cast, unlike the prick Pritchard this dialogue goes places I enjoy. Tony is so underratedÂ
-
first of all fuck you all to the squared circle gazette guys. Russo era Wcw is the shit you fucking marks
generally though you guys are awesome

Missy on Austins podcast was a blast

it was a shoot interview I think, one where he was essentially saying he did sexual favors to get a push in the WWF, involved Pat Patterson if I remember
