So basically 100k (out of a world wide audience of close to 100m) little bitches have decided to sabotage the IMDB scores? This is more heinous than burning a city of innocent civilians with a dragon as far as I'm concerned. Dany didnt get her dream ending and neither did they.Â

What a sensational show over 8 seasons. Never a bad episode. The last 2 seasons perhaps needed 10 episodes to flesh them out and keep the same stylistic feel, but it was still brilliant.Â

The season 8 soundtrack is on Spotify and sounding fantastic. Really like the Serj Tankian version of The Rains of Castamere they've stuck on there as well.Â

Can anybody recommend a decent GoT podcast?Â
The Bald Move ones.. They topped the iTunes podcast charts. Funny guys, good analysis. 3 pods over the week; immediate thoughts, full recap and one going in-depth with the lore.

Exactly, it was a perfect episode to set the scene for whats ahead and to bring us back in to that world.. and what's ahead looks incredible.

The viewing figures were through the roof, there are plenty of more casual fans who don't follow as closely as geeks like me. You can't just jump in to the shit storm. And if you don't want good story and characters to back up the action you might as well go and watch Transformers.

Really good first episode there, setting all the pieces in place! The beginning of the end. Shall we begin?

How boring was Moonlight? Loved Hidden Figures though. The Founder was a good watch as well.

When did audience cynicism become endemic in WWE?
Â
I've been watching a few bits on the network recently, most notably Wrestlemania 19 today.
Â
54,000 fans, presumably intelligent to some level, and they were pretty much into everything. They popped for the house band for the evening, Limp Bizkit, when you can pretty much guarantee these days that all outside guests will get shat on. They even were into the weird segment with the Miller Light catfight girls (Jesus, the worlds changed in 13 years, hasn't it?).
Â
It made for a much more engaged viewing experience, if nothing else.
I was there, I was 19, a pervert and I liked Limp Bizkit. So that explains it really.
Â
The guy two seats over from me caught the Rocks elbow pad. I've never got over that.

Hi WWE, it's me. I have a proposal for you. I am prepared to attend all of your live televised and pay per view events. I'm even prepared to sit at ringside. All you have to do is give me free tickets. Deal?

Interesting read. I don't agree with his opinion on the quality of the episodes. However it's pretty interesting take on the change of writing style from sociological to psychological and why it felt different beyond the books.Â
