  1. I have a random and perhaps silly question, but since I don't have any experience using Ticketmaster I've been wondering. Is it normal that when I open my All In tickets on Ticketmaster it tells me they're not available yet and they would be available at least three days prior to the event (resale option is active at the moment, but the transfer option is not). I'm asking because I've upgraded my tickets and I wanted to sell my original tickets to a friend, but because the transfer option is not active I cannot transfer them to him yet. If this is indeed normal and expected, which I'm assuming it is, does anyone have any idea when the tickets might become available? When does this typically happen for such large scale events?

So tonight we have MJF cutting a great heel promo, only to return to the ring shortly afterwards with a look of genuine concern for the caved in head of Cody Rhodes????

The story they've been telling in their online shows is that MJF is sucking up to Cody and pretending to be friends with him while in reality he hates him and talks trash about him behind his back. So, based on that it made perfect sense for MJF to be out there and to be showing (over-the-top fake) concern over Cody. Obviously, this is all leading to Cody eventually figuring out the truth and feuding with MJF.

They've also announced the first show will be called "Double or Nothing". More details will be revealed on January 8 when they'll hold a fan rally in Jacksonville. Advertised for the rally are: Young Bucks, Cody, Brandi, Hangman, Daniels, Kazarian and Scorpio Sky. On a sidenote, Smackdown is in Jacksonville that same day.

  4. So, The Great Khali returned to the ring the other day and wrestled his first match ever in India. Drew a big crowd too, surely bound to be one of the biggest wrestling crowds of the year: https://i.imgur.com/yn3733V.webm

At the end they did a big angle where Brody Steele, Mike Knox and Apolo attacked Khali, which got a lot of coverage in the Indian press and was treated as if Khali was legitimately injured (even though it was just an angle and he's wrestling again today).

Update. And today's Khali/Steele rematch reportedly drew even better. Some of the wrestlers who worked the show are claiming 50,000 and more in attendance. No idea if this is true or not.

  6. The complete details on the tour:

TNA announces full roster for UK Tour- as wrestling legend Kurt Angle says farewell

The stars of TNA IMPACT WRESTLING will invade the UK next week, for some of the biggest wrestling events in the company’s history.

The MAXIMUM IMPACT 8 Tour will see TNA TV tapings take place in Manchester (Friday January 29), London (Saturday January 30) and Birmingham (Sunday January 31).

The shows – which will be broadcast on Challenge in the UK next month, will be the last for wrestling legend Kurt Angle. TNA President Dixie Carter this week announced the opponents for Kurt’s ‘Farewell Tour’ bouts:

In Manchester, the Olympic Gold Medallist will face Britain’s Drew Galloway, while at London’s SSE Arena Wembley he will relive one of his greatest career rivalries – by taking on Bobby Roode for one final time. On the last night of the Tour, in Birmingham, Kurt will battle Lashley in a rematch of the one of the best bouts to ever take place on UK soil.

Dixie Carter also announced that three top independent talents from the British and Irish wrestling scene will join the Tour following a social vote – underground hardcore icon Jimmy Havoc, high-flying sensation Will Ospreay and Irish heavyweight Big Damo.

Dixie said: “We wanted to know who the fans in the UK would most like to see on the Tour, so I put it out there on social media and the feedback was fantastic. We narrowed it down to the three names who got the most response and asked the fans to vote for their favourite.

“In the end the winner was… IMPACT WRESTLING. We won because the response was so incredible, and the vote so close, that we are bringing all three on Tour with us.”

TNA are also bringing their most famous matches to the UK for the first time. Manchester will host Monster’s Ball, while King of the Mountain will take place in Birmingham. Fans in London will witness TNA’s most dangerous night of the year – Lockdown!

Plus, in another first, the hugely popular Beer Money tag team of James Storm and Bobby Roode return to the UK for the first time in five years.

The full and final line-up for the MAXIMUM IMPACT 8 events is Beer Money (Bobby Roode & James Storm), Big Damo, Bram, Dollhouse (Awesome Kong, Jade, Marti & Rebel), Drew Galloway, EC3, Eli Drake, Eric Young, Gail Kim, Grado, Jessie Godderz, Jimmy Havoc, Kurt Angle, Lashley, Mahabali Shera, Mark Andrews, Matt and Reby Hardy, Rockstar Spud, Shane Helms, The Beautiful People (Madison Rayne & Velvet Sky), The Decay (Abyss, Crazzy Steve & Rosemary), The Miracle Mike Bennett and Maria, The Wolves (Eddie Edwards & Davey Richards), Tigre Uno, Trevor Lee, Tyrus and Will Ospreay. Smashing Pumpkins frontman, and TNA Wrestling’s Senior Producer, Creative and Talent Development, Billy Corgan will also be appearing. *

MAXIMUM IMPACT 8 Tour tickets are still available via www.gigsandtours.com and www.ticketmaster.co.uk or direct from the tour venues. Full details of the UK events are:

Friday 29 January 2016 Manchester Arena

Saturday 30 January 2016 London The SSE Arena Wembley

Sunday 31 January 2016 Birmingham Barclaycard Arena

TNA’s flagship show IMPACT WRESTLING is broadcast every Sunday night at 9pm on Challenge TV in the UK and Ireland. Catch-up show TNA Xplosion, which is suitable for all ages, airs on Saturday mornings at 9am, also on Challenge.

The UK Tour events will run over six episodes on Challenge, starting in mid-February.

  7. Challenge have cut so much from this show as well tonight BTW. Whole Beer Money promo before Young and Bram came out and newrly that whole Hardy segment as well. What a joke channel

Not their fault. Pop has been allowing Impact to run for 10-15 extra minutes these past couple of weeks and thus stuff has to get cut out for the international broadcasts to shrink them down to 2 hours.

  8. Greater than Mean Gene, it's Dawna! Host of the Savoldi ICW's teen report! A* wrestling television.

Highlights are her interviewing April 1990 Wrestler of the Month - SUPER DUPER MARIO, and July 1990 Wrestler of the Month Tony Atlas in the most hilarious bit of television ever made.

That Tony Atlas interview was great. The champ!

  9. Classic Wrestling Revolution (the promotion that Shane Douglas, Jake Roberts, Road Warrior Animal, etc. are involved with) just posted this:

Here it is! A sneak peek at what CWR is bringing to the 41 million visitors to Las Vegas and over 2 billion television and digital network viewers worldwide.

The vision of Rowdy Roddy Piper, The Franchise Shane Douglas and internet and media entrepreneur Bill Townsend, along with Emmy award winning executive producers, the co-founder of Telemundo, 8 World Champion coaches, a former US Olympic wrestling coach, a 4-time NCAA champion, and others who want to bring back the realism and competitiveness that professional wrestling has lost, is coming to Las Vegas, Nevada Spring 2016.

7 two-hour shows each week at a leading Las Vegas casino.

    346 shows a year!

Over 48 hours of original television programming each week broadcast globally via network and digital partners, accessible from over 168 countries, reaching over 2.6 billion people. Content accessible on over 650 devices from smartphones to tablets to TVs.

Color commentary from Jake “The Snake” Roberts and play-by-play by wrestling veteran Kriss Kloss

Whole new ways to view matches with new formats. Plus, technologies that not only let you see and hear the match, but feel every hit and takedown.

We're bringing wrestling back to the future to give you want you want!

    Welcome to the Revolution!

There's always been new promotions talking a big game, but this is just ridiculous.

  10. So that's a thing TNA will be doing now:

    Return to The Asylum Years

It is the foundation on which Impact Wrestling was built. The Tennessee State Fairgrounds near Impact Headquarters in Nashville, TN was our home in those early years. Now, every Thursday night from 7PM to 9PM EST you can relive the “Asylum Years” live! We will start from the very beginning and you can watch along with the current stars of Impact Wrestling as they relive those early moments with you.

Every Thursday night we will rollout another classic episode from The Asylum Years on our official YouTube channel. Don’t miss a second of reliving the moments that we still celebrate to this day and some moments we all might want to forget! Starting this Thursday, December 3rd at 7PM EST.

Might be fun to re-watch some of these shows. Hopefully it won't be a "live" stream only.

  11. Brad Maddox has been released.

    And here's why:

According to several sources we have spoken to, Maddox was released due to language he used during a pre-match promo during a dark match at last night's Smackdown taping against R-Truth, specifically the phrase "cocky pr**ks."

We are told that WWE officials, upset with the language, then made the decision to issue Maddox's release.

  12. Jerry Jarrett's new project:

Jerry Jarrett’s return to wrestling will be for a thirteen-week wrestling series that will be in the vein of Tough Enough. PWInsider reports that the return that Jarrett teased on Facebook recently will not be with Classic Wrestling Revolution or Global Force Wrestling, but rather for what is being called the “wrestling version” of American Idol.

Jarrett and his team will conduct a talent search among indy wrestling companies, in addition to calling on indie talent to submit audition tapes. Thirty to fifty people will be invited to compete in the series, which will take place at smaller indy promotions. Special events will be run in major markets such as Las Vegas and New York City, with the finalists competing at these shows. There will then be a tour with the winners, some finalists and a few more established talents.

The competitions will consist of wrestlers performing in front of a three-judge panel with the judges having a buzzer to stop the match if they see a botch or something they don’t like. More details are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.
  13. Caught the end of something called Fighting Spirit Wrestling last night, description just says it's the best matches from NJPW and CMLL. No idea how recent it is or that. The commentary's English so I'll keep giving it a go. Every weeknight on the Extreme Sport channel.

Looks like it's airing three times per day: http://extreme.com/tv/show/223831/fighting-spirit-wrestling

That said, it appears Ring Warriors out of Florida will be replacing it starting on November 12th: http://extreme.com/tv/show/223843/ring-warriors
