Anyone heard anything about this play based on wrestling? Quite intrigued by it

The Wee Man mentioned this on Friday Night Fight Club, demanding that ICW fans burn the theatre to the ground. Reading a few reviews of it its just Grado's story nicked and the names slightly changed(and they made Mikey Whiplash into a woman), however since they have a character called the Wee Man who is "a Scottish chav, driven by insult and Buckfast Tonic Wine" I can see why he's pissed. Hell Lardo wears a bumbag! 

Might be the only person new to this picture. Only time i can recall seeing Austin bald and without the classic goatee.

Its not been a good week for podcasts and PCW. Court Bauer on MLW/LAW Radio's Bauer and Pollock was speaking about it like it was a shindy (even though he works for ROH). Also Styles on Talk is Jericho wasn't a fan of Lionheart and his writings.

First two shows were fantastic, however the last one got completely ruined for me by absolute dickhead fans around me. In the 2 and a bit hours of the last show I got drinks all over my back and then splashed onto my face, got squared up by drink splashers, some dude spitting constantly in my face when he talked about how gay wrestling was and how weird, gay and perverted I was for liking it, electronic cigarette smoke puffed into my face for a good period of time and then I missed most of the main event because I got dragged into some situation regarding someone wearing a cowboy hat.

 

I don't know how I attract so much shit to me and my face, all I know is next time I'm going to a PCW show I'm wearing a mask!

 

Not trying to be funny or anything because that's sounds horrible and unacceptable - but why didn't you just move? I'm assuming you were standing, as the majority of fans were standing, and its not like anyone was forced to be in one particular place. You really shouldn't have had to put up with that crap.

 

And why on earth was someone using all that 'wrestling is gay' stuff when they had actually paid to go and see a wrestling show?

I didn't move because the dude I was with is really picky about being able to see everything and not being behind people. It was either move and deal with him for the next few weeks moaning or just suck it up and hope for the best.

First time I'm doing a full weekend of PCW, been to one shots before but I finally got a free weekend to co-align. On Friday night I will be the guy in the shirt and pants covered in paint, snot, play dough and God knows what else because I will be coming straight from work because even though I made sure I was on the early shift to get chance to change I've got to stay late because a colleague is going to go to a Peter Fucking Andre autograph signing at fucking Morrisons.

On the Candice and Joey Youtube show they were talking about Johnny Gargano's dream match of AR Fox V Buff Bagwell. After that, I'm actually hoping someone books that match

Brian Cage. Briefly in WWE developmental as "Kris Logan", now works around the indies.

 

He's a decent enough wrestler IMO, although as of late he has started going by the cringe-inducing nickname "Mr. Get-My-Shit-In".

Him and Elgin as the Unbreakable Fucking Machines might be the best power tag team around. They just throw men around the ring as if they were bags of sand.

Cheers folks. I'm hoping that this asshole is the reason all the major forums unite. In a few months when he goes on Wrestlefigs and slags off FAN I hope one of their posters comes over and it'll be a continual cycle until a giant love in.

Sorry to jump out of lurking, but I've been asked by the admins of FAN on their behalf to apologize about that post and to say that the dude got banned for the post. Not only is insulting other forums is against the rules on the site but also the comments about depression have actually offended many of the long term community there because we've lost friends on the site to it.

 

Also this thread has killed my love of Foley. I use to think Foley was God, now I don't know what to believe.

Been trying to get the Network to work for 3 hours now, fucking nothing. Not a susage. Tried everything, just black screen

Helms is another one I wouldn't mind seeing back. If he's in good enough nick that is. I fucking loved him when he was using his real name. Easily one of the top performers they had on Smackdown for a good while.

Anyone who makes Vince crack up like that deserves a second go around.

If they brought him in as a cocky as shit manager for a new guy I would be happy, he could play that well and can pass on his knowledge to the guy. However after that motorbike accident he had and how screwed up his neck was I would be scared to see him in the ring again.
