I am left wondering what the plan was - if anything- back at the Rumble, and how things may have changed since.

Did they ever plan for Edge to be the one to dethrone Reigns? And if so, now he's heel, can you really swap to a tepid Edge from Reigns? I don't think for a second they'll allow Bryan to come out on top again, but they have just booked themselves into a mess.

Bryan should have won the Rumble, Edge should have built to a blow off with Orton.

Additionally, for anyone here who's submitted their own show to Apple Podcasts, do you have to have iTunes installed? I've no Apple devices and never used iTunes, so just registered an Apple id for the first time to submit mine, but I'm caught in a loop of help pages, where it seems like I need an iTunes Store id too (ie, download their software and give them my credit card info) before I can do it. Is there any way round this?

I just set up my own podcast during Lockdown too. Two weeks ago I got it onto Apple Podcasts. I created my own Apple ID using a new account for the show.

I used this guide to help and yeah, been on Apple for three weeks with no issues. We upload to Podbean and it automatically goes to Spotify and Apple Podcasts.

Morbid random thought; what if - of all the possible days in a year - Vince was to die on a Wrestlemania sunday? How would it impact if at all? 

I have to admit I'm now far more interested. I love Braun, but I feel there's more potential with Finn. I think he was booked fantastically... going over Cena was great, but as mentioned above... I wonder what it does for Cena. It continues to bring him down rather than up. However who else could they have booked to give Finn that credibility on the night he needs? 

The issue I have is if Finn "decides" to go it sans Demon paint... he's an idiot. He's still undefeated in that guise no? Surely an angle next Monday to set up Demon vs Beast?

As a red blooded male; I'm all for a bit of Alexa... but I really don't understand the logic in that backstage segment. It served no purpose and just seemed cheap. 

Brick Lesnar - After Brock leaves again for UFC, and with sitcom The Middle finishing, this seems like the natural progression for all parties - The WWE will hire Brick Heck to do his best Brock impersonation in the ring.

Bane - Remember when everyone’s solution to make Kane was interesting again was to put the mask back on? There was someone else nobody cared about until they put on a mask...  Kane returns as one of Batman’s greatest foes! 

Mince McMahon - I can’t think of a story....

Sali Zayn - WWEs first true transgender superstar. Done with all the seriousness that Santina, Vito and others have missed - for one month until Mince watches Smackdown and doesn’t understand

So on the Brighton Centre website they have a card. Tagged due to spoilers - but must be changing given some of Takeover's results

The last time I remember an unlikely candidate moving from lower mid-card to top of the card was Brian Kendrick to TBK back in 2008/2009. Wasn't he briefly champion during a scramble match? Obviously, doesn't count as a recognised reign, but was an unusual push at the time?

I know it's odd; but I am willing to give him a chance. Orton was hardly setting the world on fire as champion - bar his '...dive' comments, no one was actually talking about him. Good or bad, we're talking about Jinder now. He's only - what - 10 hours give or take into his reign (which means he's had a longer reign than Rey Mysterio!) Lets give ol' Jinder a chance; as Benoit used to say 'Prove me wrong'

This isn't to say I'm a fan - I find it incredibly odd and baffling. I guess we just have to wait and see. Maybe this can be the chance Sami Zayn needs to step up as mentioned above?

I've recently been doing what I call "Birthday Raw" starting in 1993 and going through the RAW on or closest to my birthday year by year. I don't get that much time to watch so it's taking it's time.

I actually had a birthday Wrestlemania.... X-8. Sure, it was technically after I'd gone to bed... hell technically was the 18th March in the UK. But in Canada, it was still my 12th birthday!

Great show as ever this week guys. You really should invest in a SCG-Cam for future bombshells though. Would loved to have seen the look of gloom and despair on your faces for Liam's big reveal!

I forgot about Stacy. I'd love her and Lita. Mickie has done a tonne of shoots from the past; so I wouldn't be fussed by her as much 

I remember me and Iandrewdiceclay went to see his standup (we enjoyed Ken Dodds standup more and left midway through Dodd)

 

He was canny with me cause I took Tietam Brown for him to sign but was proper arsey with Ian as he had a Hogan shirt in saying something like "I hope you wear a Mick Foley shirt when you go to meet Hogan" Petty we thought. Every appearance he makes now I get a horrible 'oh give it a rest Mick' feeling. His faux angry promos that he cut on CM Punk were cringe inducing. He's pervy with any young lass (and wears sweatpants you can see a hard-on through) and I remember Test had a go at him once backstage from creeping round Stacey Kiebler (good on Test, rest his soul) and I for one am embarrassed by him. Great thread!

Is it just me or with the good roster of guys on the card they have at the moment, they really should bring back King of the Ring? I'd love to see Barrett be given the title and it would make a change from all the other 'special shows' which, with the exception of a few, are all the same.

I'd be all for King of the Ring returning. I've always enjoyed shows that have tournaments that require wrestlers competing in several matches! I really enjoyed the KOTR from years back with Punk/Regal. Good story of Regal lucking out against opponents like Hornswoggle and Punk giving his all, but ultimately being to beat up against the fresh Regal

Not asking for much is he. I'll be honest; I'd buy a Santa Foley figure. I'm starting to think he even SOUNDS like Father Christmas (or at least Tim Allen in the Santa Clause)
