  1. Impact is on over here, the Tuesday after it airs on Spike. Destination X airs over here Wednesday at 10.00pm on Challenge.

Cheers. When does it air on Spike and is Destination X tonight then?

Sorry if the answers are obvious.

  2. I asked this elsewhere but when are the TNA shows broadcasted over here after being aired in the States?

Is is a week delay? (Thursday taped, Tuesday aired here?)

Also when is Destination X broadcasted over here (if at all?)/

    Thanks

  3. I'd be surprised If this did actually did 1.2 million buys. I work at Sky and when I left at 2.30am on Sat morning the buys were at about 130,000 however that may have been for that days intake. I'll probably find out the number later today and let u guys know what it is.

As for the fight itself well it showed that Haye lacks the substance to back up the style. He is of the Ricky Hatton bracket of being a very good fighter but will never be a great one as tip fighters have exposed them. It also showed how insecure the fucker is. He couldn't get that boot off quick enough to show everyone his broken little toe. it was a pretty pathetic and classless showing that he couldn't just accept that he was the lesser fighter on the night

the lesser fighter on the night

According to Sky's Twitter they were having problems processing an 'unprecedented' amount of last minute orders and Tweeted that fans should go to the pub.

That excuse/reason is just as bad as Haye's broken toe.

Hopefully Patrick "Madman" Kelly will find out some info for us.

  4. Are streams allowed to be posted on these forums?

Technically yes, however I always get pissed off if a thread turns into a bunch of idiots asking for streams.

Thanks. Would it not be worth having a thread just for streams to avoid threads being ruined by posters asking for streams all the time? Have seen this on other forums and seems to work quite well.

Isn't there a chat facility? Why not just go into that and offer/ask for streams for events?

I don't go onto chat. It doesn't bother me anyway as I didn't ask for any links but having posted one myself I just wanted to check if it was okay to do so.

  6. Haye didn't have the Talent to back up the bollocks he was chatting before the fight. His trainer should be ashmed of himself, no game plan at all. Haye didn't even try to the basis, you know throw punches to score points, proper mugged himself off.

  7. Haye has been cocky and disrespectful that a lot of people I know that were rooting for him want him to get knocked out.

All this talking better result in a win otherwise he will be laughed at for the rest of his life.

Eitherway though he is nothing special and probably one of the poorer champions of recent times, but then Boxing has dropped in quality the last few years.

  8. I saw REC 2 the other day which is pretty much a continuation of the first film, was okay in parts but not that much different from the first film really.

on a similar note a sequel has been made to the american version of REC Quarantine and it is nothing like REC 2

looks like it will be shit but worth a watch in a so bad its good way

Is there an American REC? Or am I completing getting the wrong end of the stick?

  9. I watched Insidious last night and it was one of the best horror's I've seen in ages, had the hairs on me arms standing on end a few times ( mainly due to the music )

It got a bit shite in the last half hour or so but it was still really good I thought

Did you see it in the cinema or on a TV?

I found with the Paranormal Activity's that they were great for a cinema experience but were really shit when watched again at home.

I found the exact opposite. Watching films like that alone in the dark is way better than at the cinema. Much better atmosphere.

Interesting that Denzel thinks 3D is better at home too, ive not seen 3D on a TV yet but I imagine youd need it to be on a pretty big screen ala 50"+ for it to be any good, I always thought the reason it looked good at the cinema was that the size of the screen gave it much better scope but may be wrong.

Yeah I think its much better at home than the Cinema (personal opinion of course) as you are about the right distance from the TV as well, where as in the cinema although the screen is bigger I get the impression that you don't quite get the full effects or that could just be the films itself, I'm not too sure. I have seen Avatar, Toystory to name two films in 3D at home and both stand out very well, strangely enough I didn't think much of the 3DTV's when looking at them in the shops but its something you appreciate more with the lights off as well.

In saying that though only films to me work in 3D, not overly keen on sports which is something different but not a MUST have feature, its not something where you would follow your own team I don't think (which goes back to the concentration thing I mentioned earlier) but a good gimmick (for use of a better word) to watch the odd Monday night game, can't vouch for many other sports as not overly keen on Golf or Rugby but from the previews they look pretty decent.

But yeah I do think films look better at home in 3D than in the cinemas but as already mentioned it can only work for certain films such as Avatar and Toy Story which are mainly animated films which look rather glorious, where as films such as Saw doesn't quite cut it for me.

  10. Funny enough I watched Avatar for the first time at home last night in 3D and really enjoyed it. The only thing that I would say is that its hard (might be just me) to keep concentration throughout the whole film as your pretty much focused on all 3D elements of the film, sounds stupid but because it takes a toll on your eyes a little bit you try to keep awake/focused but lose focus a little bit on the actual story. Was a good film though but because of all the hype I downplayed the expectations and just enjoyed it for what it was.

I do think 3D is better at home than the cinema though going by what I have seen.

  11. Saw the new X-Men film this week.

Throughly enjoyed the film and one of the best films I have seen in quite a while (didn't have any expectations for this film and had no idea about the cast or story, although have seen the previous films quite a while back and know the main characters).

Thought that the main characters were very well written and have previously enjoyed Fassbender's work (think he is a great actor) and didn't realise he was Magneto in this film before watching but loved the character throughout the film.

So yeah, didn't have any expectations on this film but the story was written well to those who knew of the X-Men but also towards those who may be new to the franchise.

    Oh and Jennifer Lawerence

  12. Anyone here watch South American football or more so does anyone gamble on it?

It's a market I have been looking to tap into as there are games on most nights but need to do some research first.

Bring on the summer, Under 21's, Wimbledon and whatever else is happening.
