I got Lost in Blue this morning. A fustrating game at times but very fun. Not played it much but what's better that living out the fantasy of being stuck on an island with the only company a girl who needs you to live and in return cooks all your meals for you

I watched Battle Royale again last night. There's already been too much written about the film on this forum for me to say anything though.

I saw The Proposition the other night. An awesome but simple premise. Quite brutal in places, and the tension of the final scenes is incredible, you know what's going to happen but it's just when. Excellent screen play and soundtrack, showing why Nick Cave is such an awesome man.

I went to see V for Vendetta on Sunday night. Really enjoyed the film, never read the graphic novel although I'm tempted to pick it up when I get paid. I can't understand why it has been so slated.

Napoleon Dynamite after so much praise on here I'd thought it would be awesome, such a let down. Rubbish film.

Going by a JLM recomendation I picked up Mario Sunshine and Zelda Windwaker. Both came today but I've only been on Mario so far, not a bad little game but the water cannon is tricky to control

Doom - Unless you like pointless action films with losts of shooting but very little plot structure or character building then give it a miss.I'm currently making my way through The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe DVD of the TV series.

Star Wars Battlefront II is all kinds of awesome. Playing as Darth Vader and Darth Maul and Han Solo and Boba Fett and others is just brilliant.

I second this. Although I'm rather sucky at the game.

Saw The Constant Gardener the other night, quite slow to get into at the begining and the film moves too fast in some places and too slow in others and was a bit boring at the start for a while, but looking back it's quite a good emotional film.

 

I also watched Ella Enchanted on DVD, a fairy tale with modern social values. Not a bad film really with a few funny spots, oh and I only really watched it for Parminder Nagra's two minutes of footage.

I went to see Night Watch last tuesday. I enjoyed it however it's really confusing in some places and hard to follow. There's some really good camera effects but after a while they get annoying. It's also predictable in places. The strangest part of the film is seeing Buffy dubbed over in Russian with the films subtitles telling you what's said in English.

After reading around forums I've found out that you should do this as it ruins your game, your fruit goes rotten and weeds appear all over your town so that the people that live in your town move away. The game also knows when you've pressed reset / turned off power without saving.

Resi Evil 4 The best and scariest Resi game of the series (although I haven't played the gun ones)

 

Mario Power Tennis Simply ace. Great to play with friends, along with Resi the reason I got my cube.

 

I've also got Metroid Prime 2 and the latest Splinter Cell, not played on them yet though. Had a quick sesh on SC didn't think much to it.
