  1. There's two of them now. The other one is called Oblong.

HA! Definitely not the most eloquently i've ever put across a point, i'll give you that!

You're just pissed because you're not Number One in the 'Massive Penis' list... In other news I would like to pass on my congratulations to Mr. Gordon. It is good to know that all that shilling~~~ got you to a number one spot eventually!

  2. anyone else find it weird that Reynolds now plays 2 popular supehero's?

is there any other actors to play 2?

Chris Evans played Johnny Storm in Fantastic 4, and will play Captain America - meaning he'll be two people in the same 'universe'.

James Marsden came close - he played Cyclops and also turned up as Lois Lane's husband in 'Superman Returns'. He was also, if memory serves, in the running to play Jesse Custer at one point.

Also, Halle Berry, played Catwoman and Storm...

  3. If there is a UKFF trip and Hatguy-esque trip report for this show then this could provide the moment where the UKFF definitively peaks.

I nominate TripleA for the honours, as a spin-off to his special videogame reviews.

    Probably more appealing than Ratatouille.

I would LOVE to do it... if only I knew where it was!

  4. Mine's 39 but I'll post her anyway, I know she's not ACTUALLY gay but she could turn me in a heartbeat...

Liz May Brice of Bad Girls and more recently Torchwood fame...

Agreed, also Gaby Roslin is a fox..

Lorraine Kelly pawns all though ! :p

...and now I know she is 33 she is more in my range...YAY...

  5. Anyone else watch Krod Mandoon last night? What did you reckon?

I quite liked it...didn't think it was "...to fantasy what Red Dwarf was to SciFi!" as someone said to me it had been billed...but there were definitely some laugh out loud silly but funny moments. I found the American accents quite annoying for some reason. I'll definitely watch again!

  6. On the subject of newsreaders/weathergirls, I quite like BBC South East's Julie Reinger:

And I concur with whomever suggested Wendy Hurell, I filmed a fashion show that she presented in Norwich, and she's lovely in person.

    :omg: POB!!!

This poor owman got nicknamed Pob in our household when she had a terrible, terrible haircut which made her look like she had sticky out ears...hence Pob...Also her dress sense often leave a lot to be desired...although it seems to be getting better the longer her hair gets!

  7. mc no one remember the mc not even fit enough to ref

I'm sorry but are you serious? A quality MC can make an absolute WORLD of difference to a show, it is in my opinion one of the most important jobs on the show. I have no idea if Moj himself is any good, I'm sure the promoters he's worked for will be able to tell you that, but this dismissal of the role makes me very skeptical about LPW in general.
Alexander, C-Dude and myself have all ring announced for LPW - the first time I did it, I was asked 10 minutes before the show started. I'm glad to know our contributions to the show were valued.
I make a well sexy MC.
Gotta make a sexy something I suppose! With regards to the MC; I think many people who attended the Lucha Libre London shows would agree that the MC there was amazing and really got everyone in to the shows!
  8. From the EXCITEMENT thread...

THE JUST MISSED OUT LIST Dirty Oil (this man got a LOT of votes with no real reason - people who mentioned his name couldn't explain why without just collapsing in paroxysms of laughter and disgust)

    Then we get....

dirtyoil-1.jpg31 - Dirty OilA failure at life. Despised by all of those around him, it doesn't take a genius to figure this shitarse probably paid his way onto shows. Fat, out of shape, never been trained and should never have been anywhere near the ring, at any time, ever. Compulsive liar. Worked security at 1PW shows until he was caught red-handed stealing DVDs - but told everyone he volunteered to 'step back from the business' because he 'wasn't enjoying it any more' and was 'worried about getting too close'. Has been known to walk out after shows to chat with fans seconds after an injury angle. Also appeared as Dragon JU-A and Maniark briefly. A complete stereotype of the worst kind of person attracted by British Wrestling.Oh, and for his one appearance, someone who hated him made this theme music, which he used while not realising what the lyrics were:Dirty Oil themeThis was his entrance music, that he used on the way to the ring. It includes the lines 'I can't wrestle, everyone knows/so I pay money to be on shows'. That's the best line, but there's some others. Did I mention it's Diesel's theme with a rap over the top? Click that link, everyone.EDITED TO ADD PIC

    I declare myself confused....
  9. Yeah but quite a lot of names you have to do that, i'm Carl, but always asked if its a K or a C, and as above with Michael and Micheal, there can be Mark or Marc etc. I think people are just jumping on the MAT hate bandwagon and just saying her son's name is stupid when in all reality it really isn't.

It's a different situation. I'm a John, but people often spell it Jon, which is a shortening of a different name. The examples you've given are different because of the origin of the names. They hadn't had letters randomly added.
Just since we are playing the 'name game.... My brother is called Jon; christened that and everything, not a shortening of Jonathan at all. In fact it drives him mad when people lengthen it.Having worked in a school for 11 years or so I have met children with all sorts of wierd and wonderful names, but have come to the conclusion that actually the only REAL time that it matters is when you are aged between about 10/11 and 16/17, during the time where people reject anything just because they (or the 'in crowd') see it as different or a reason for ridicule. Having met a child called Starling, I very much doubt Dyllan will get much hassle for his 'extra' L!!
