I don't know how legit this is, because it's the blog of a guy who's only got 300 followers on Twitter, but apparently Bully Ray did an interview with this kid.

I can't see it happening but he has a point about the promo potential between him and Heyman:

I’m hearing a lot of people clamoring for me to go back to the WWE to try to see if Bully Ray could do something over there. Personally, I think I could. I think it’d be a lot of fun. If I were to go back to WWE either as Bully Ray by myself or to finish out my career with D-Von as Team 3D, I think both things could work. I think the fans, first and foremost, want to see it. They have been very active on Twitter and social media saying “We want Bully Ray in WWE” or “We want Team 3D back in WWE”. Like I said, if it’s right, maybe it’ll happen. But if it didn’t, I still go out with a huge smile on my face. I tweeted last week that “I’m the 1 who can defeat the 1 who put the 1 in 21-1.” I’m confident in my ability in the ring and I’m confident in my ability on the mic. So from a physical standpoint, Bully versus Brock would be very interesting. And a verbal battle on the microphone, could you imagine Bully Ray and Paul Heyman?

Sounds legit as he said pretty much word for word the same thing to Bill Apter in a recent interview also (warning some horrible audio in this video at points) -

He did some stellar work as a singles guy in TNA, completely re-invented himself and was in my opinion was the most interesting he'd been since the ECW days. Don't see why that wouldn't translate in WWE. He could come in, cut a few cracking promos, put a few of the younger guys over and you've also got the history with Heyman, potential to involve Devon and do a Dudleys nostalgia thing for a while aswell so plenty of options.

Who's likely to be booking the new shows?

Whoever's the cheapest guy they can get in probably.

Believe the booking team remains John Gaburick, Dave Lagana, Matt Conway in addition to Christy Hemme handling the Knockouts. Hopefully they stick to the recent formula of keeping things simple. As someone alluded to earlier, keep the roster thin with your core guys and bring in some surprises and names to feed to them every taping, keeps the costs down and keeps things feeling fresh. I think the only thing their lacking right now is a "Top Guy" and by that I don't necessarily mean a big name, just a defined main character. I.E. 80's WWF had Hogan, 90's had Austin, Today it's Cena. AJ Styles was always the guy you associated as the main "TNA guy", i'm not so sure they've ever replaced him. The boat has pretty much sailed for Samoa Joe. Eric Young as great as he is, is still percieved by the masses as a comedy character in many ways. Angle and Hardy are still considered "WWE guys" by the lay person despite years in TNA. They seem to be positioning Bobby Roode in the role but not sure if he will be the guy to lead the company. Maybe EC3 will be the man down the line, he's been fantastic throughout his run.

  2. Haven't enjoyed a RAW as much in a long long time. Surprised to see some negative comments about the Rollins heel turn, I never saw it coming and loved it. Mr. Showtime makes a good point regarding Randy Orton though, he should be chompin at the bit to get in the title mix like Batista, maybe Triple H can guarantee him a MITB spot or something. Best not to over think those things though and just enjoy it for what it is.

Anyone else dig the Cena / Stephanie exchange? I was mildly surprised at how entertaining and at times funny their exchange was. And Cena's such a pro when it comes to deflecting the "Cena sucks" stuff from the crowd isn't he?

  3. Think of all those dream matches we've never seen before. Jeff Jarrett vs Kurt Angle. AJ Styles vs. Bully Ray. Christopher Daniels vs Eric Young. Karen and Velvet Sky dueling on the mic. Fucking hell, the playground would be split for those belters.

 i really didn't think it through! In all seriousness though, I'd be more than happy to see Jarrett vs Angle again if we got Double J MMA back though!

  4. I was bored and curious (oh how that combination has gotten me into so much trouble throughout my life!) and decided to have a browse on the various wrestling news and rumour sites. I admittedly have not been keeping up with the daily goings on in the business as regularly as before. Anyway, was interested to find out what had become of Double J's new Global Force Wrestling promotion I heard so much about after Wrestlemania. Read the following interview where he gives a rather vague reason for leaving TNA and then confirms he's still a part owner.

At that moment did you seriously consider stopping watching wrestling? Even if you loved WCW and hated WWF, there's surely no way on earth that you didn't want to know what was going to happen in the coming weeks/months?

I agree, not only did i consider quitting wrestling i pretty much did until TNA's emergence. And no i had no interest in watching a WWF-ified WCW, even that last Nitro was terrible - it was rushed and concentrated way too heavily on what was going on in the WWF.

Though i can understand why given the WWF's plans to use WCW in their upcoming invasion storyline. But for real WCW fans we watched it because it was different, it WASN'T WWF and thus when Vince bought it WCW truly died, and tbh i'm still sad we never got the closure on WCW, one last night with all the champions etc. would have been great.
