  1. When you know where the term 'faggot' comes from, you'll find it to be a completely unacceptable word to use. Full stop.

    Educate us
Seconded. I want to be edumacated.
Basically, it means 'kindling'. The Nazis used homosexuals to get the fire pumped up enough to start chucking on Jews.
I never knew that :( Beats Kid Kash going on about A2M in the offensive stakes
  2. The wiki thing is AMAZING. Imagine being all over the news as someone who posted about Stacy needing to be fucked up the arse, and editing "piss" and "nigger" into entries. Last week I vandalised a few entries myself, and it's lucky Andi Peters wasn't genuinely involved in a skydiving accident that broke his anus meaning he could not poo-poo, or I'd be a suspect right now.

At least theWiki aspect of this whole tragedy has been finished with
  3. It seems like we find out more and more about this with each passing day.....Should Chris's body be examined beyond establishing the cause of death & toxicology report? Certainly - examining his brain etc could give answers he himself didn't leave behindDid his son's condition play a part in their marital problems? I don't see how it couldn't haveCould the use / abuse of drugs and his continually punishing job have been a factor? TotallyI don't have a disabled child nor do I use / abuse drugs but my job keeps me away from home for a little over three full days a week and that alone is challenging for my marriage and my own physical and mental healthPlease don't take this as a plea for sympathy for Chris Benoit. I'm just trying to make some kind of sense out of what happened.

  4. Nearly 100 pages now and no one's mentioned the Edge & Christian version of his theme song "Chris Benoit is here and he's really mad".....

    Possibly because nobody remembers it.
    Really? I'm surprised!
  5. I dont believe chris did it.He was always spoken of highley by his peers and people around him,he always seemed a giving and genuine man with a passion for wrestling, his fans and most of all for his family, its incredible that many have turned on him already when nothing has been prooved to be true.I dont think he did it at all,but something happened. There was something very wrong when he was called back home for the family emergancy,so obvioulsy there was a problem before he was even back at home. Its horrifying to think about what happened.

Not all murderers are dribbling maniacs
  6. If as is looking more than possible it is confirmed that Benoit did kill his wife and son it'll make watching any of his matches difficult for me

I know its hard but you shouldnt let his personal life detract from everything he accomplished in wrestling.
I know and he was always one of my favourite in ring performers but even so it'll be very hard to watch RAW tonight on tape (presuming of course that crappy weather didn't take out the picture)
  7. Let's now hope X Wrestling is a success and their show on Overload TV is decent and goes well, as many more people just casually flicking through the channels are gonna stop and watch something on channel 208 than 432.

You're right! Who watches the sports channels?!?
  8. Wow I didn't think it was possible but this thread is in even worse shape than it was yesterday. The FWA negotiated a business deal - full stop. With the guest matches on cards, the Unsigned show & the slots on Academy shows they are / will be giving opportunities to wrestlers which is the important thing here (not them aiding rival promotions).Wrestling gets called a business because it is one - it is not a social service. If a business can gain a potential advantage (which is all TWC is right now) over their competitors via a negotiated deal with a third party then they should do just that.....which they appear to have done (that said it'll be interesting to see what Alex's statement says)!

  9. So you don't think it's hypocritical when a WWE fan criticises the FWA for trying to protect its position?

Not in the least. You're an ROH fan. Are you saying you wouldn't criticise Alex Shane if he was caught fiddling with kids?
I am the only one who fails to see the relevance of Bobbin's comeback?
I agree.Oh wait, that was a question?I think it was just as relevant (or irrelevant) as the point I was addressing, so therefore it was valid. Yes.Wrestling promoters are sleazy carny bastards, we shouldn't be unable to criticise ones that make sleazy carny decisions, just because we like companies that have made sleazy carny decisions in the past.If I lived in Louisiana in the mid 80s, I'd be well pissed off with Vince coming to town and stealing all the top talent (DiBiase, Duggan, JYD etc.) and running shows in competition with Bill Watts and trying to steal the TV etc. But instead I live in Britain in 2004, so I'm pissed off with this situation instead.
My mistake I meant to say am I..... All the FWA have done is looked out for their own best interests. Would you really expect ANYONE running a business to do otherwise?
  10. So you don't think it's hypocritical when a WWE fan criticises the FWA for trying to protect its position?

  11. There are any number of people keeping a really close eye on this right now - IF it can be proven the RF isn't entirely gone both as a staff member and an investor then I think we all know what will happen.BTW isn't this Doug the real money behind ROH anyway??

  12. I think a new Feinstein shoot Interview would be great right about now! Bob, wanna give him a call to see if he wants to do it? You could both make a fortune trading it.Why the hell are too many people on here worried if ROH survives this? You're all knocking Feinstein but still wanna support the company he runs and give him your money. Fuck's sake, it's not the end of the world if it goes under, the workers will work elsewhere and another company will spring up somewhere along the line.

    He's resigning isn't he??
  13. I've read everything on these pages and to the best of my knowledge no one has yet made the point that whilst he may or may not be charged as a direct result of this won't the cops be able to argue that it is just cause for the issuing of a warrant to search his home & business premises? If he was willing to do what he did do you think they wouldn't find anything more concrete with which to charge him? Maybe maybe not but don't be surprised if it (the warrant) happens.
