  1. My hairdresser was saying that Ant and Dec are a couple of rude pricks. A mate of hers got on that ITV gameshow they did a little while ago (don't remeber what the hell it was called) where at the beginning they surprise you at your house by visiting you to tell you that you're on the show. After they were done filming in her house, her mate offered them a coffee. They accepted, but then took them outside and sat in the van drinking them while the production crew were packing the gear away! They then sent the sound guy back to the front door with the empty mugs when they were done! Most rude! They also wouldn't sign any autographs.

  2. William Regal and Christian reduce the fans at a German houseshow to a panto crowd. Recorded on the handheld cameras of two different fans. The first video ends pretty abruptly, but it picks up again from about a minute into the second video. My favourite part is between about 6:00 and 6:15 on the first video, and Regal's facial expression around 2:18 on the second is just priceless! The whole thing just looked like so much fun to be part of. One reason why going to WWE live is totally worth it.

  3. Venables & Thompson take a two year old child, strike him in the head with a metal pipe, pour blue paint into his eye, insert a battery into his anus and leave his dead body to look like it was hit by a train. But according to some posters here that episode of events is nothing compared to Denise Fergus appearing on "This Morning".

Nit picking maybe but if you check a source that isn't a tabloid, that part isn't actually true.

Correct. The batteries were only found near his body. There was no indication of what had been done with them.

Bit of an odd question, but are there ever child murders that the tabloids don't go nuts about? I assume there aren't, since it's the one topic that they know they can whip every self-righteous moron into a frenzy with. But surely tons more kids go missing than just the ones that get the big push in the press. What's the deciding factor in which ones become a story?

Child abduction and murder happens all the time all over the place, no doubt. It seems to be the stories that have that 'little extra something' to add to the shock value that are sensationalised by the media. The Bulger case had the slant of the murderers being children themselves. The Huntley case was sensationalised because he was a school caretaker despite having a history of alledged rape and sexual assault of underaged girls. The Myra Hindley case had the 'Bonnie and Clyde' story to it, as well as the victims being buried on the moors, thus the case being labelled 'The Moors Murders'. Tabloids will exploit any angle to sell an extra few copies of their garbage.

  4. Bit of a silly question, but...

If you go about fifteen seconds in, Regal makes this gesture where he seems to trace both his cheekbones with his thumb. I've noticed him doing it a few times lately. Does anybody know if it means something?

  5. This thread's confusing at times because there's zero chance Marina Sirtis, for example, is anything like 54 in that photo.

Problem is, I have no idea how old she is in that photo. I believe this is a more recent one though...

She still doesn't look 54, she just doesn't look as airbrushed.

  6. EG Daily, American actress best known as the voice of Tommy Pickles in 'Rugrats'. Also played a prostitute in Rob Zombie's 'The Devil's Rejects'. Aged 48

And Jennifer Tilly has already been mentioned, but at 51 she's well worth another look...
