  1. I remember seeing your ticker ages ago and thought 'YAY! :D' It's wonderful to see joy after all the crap, so to see you have another makes me so happy for you all :)

How did Austin take to his sister? I love her name btw, I was very nearly called Darcey :)

He swings between acceptance and denial. Some days he just loves her and showers her with hugs and kisses and other days he hits her with his toys if I'm too slow in seperating them.

I thought I'd picked two quite original names but we viewed a nursery for Austin yesterday and two little girls in the room he'll be in are called Darcey. Haven't met another Austin yet. Took quite a while to persuade hubby, if he had his way she'd be called Imogen or Freya

  2. Awwww Dyllan is gorgeous :)

I can sympathise with having a physically strong child, my little boy Austin is 13.5 months old and is a little monster at times. I haven't come across a stair gate brand yet that can contain him, he has broken his playpen and he has figured out how to undo the straps on his carseat and buggy. Thankfully his little sister Darcey who is 2 months just seems content to lie still and smile lots at the moment but god help me when she figures out how to be off and running

GOSH! I didn't know you were even pregnant again! Belated congratulations! I use the Lindam safety gates and they hold him pretty well as long as they are secured really tight.

We kept both pregnancies fairly quiet after the two miscarriages. I nearly lost both Austin and Darcey too so it was quite a nerve wracking time. Definitely stopping at two, didn't have time for any pain relief with Darcey and thats totally put me off child birth for a third time!

Nope Lindam gates don't contain my little Houdini. He is tall enough to reach the catches and it didn't take him long to work them out. I have to tie a belt/similar around the catches to stop him opening them otherwise he can get to his little sister and attempt to beat her up!

  4. My due dates sept 29th!but being induced on the 16th if i get that far :(

What are the chances of you giving birth the same day as your induced? It'd be pretty cool if he was born on the 16th as thats my birthday tooCherry, xxx
  5. I had put the cap back on first, I was nice! I don't trust those digital ones. One said pregnant, two said not pregnant so it was only when I saw the line on the first response test that I stopped worrying the first test was wrong!Cherry, xxx

  6. I was wondering what the lemons were for as well. Now I know!I don't know. I felt (and still feel) really tired and something was not quite right. Bought a test to rule pregnancy out and woke hubby up yesterday morning jumping up and down and waving the test under his nose. Poor love was a bit confused as he'd only had about 3 hours sleep!Cherry, xxx

  7. Well we ditched the contraception once we got married (7 months ago today coincidently) and just took things as they came. Didn't really do much apart from note my cycle length and work out when to really go for it etc. Used a Clearblue digital yesterday which said pregnant then checked this morning with a first response non digital and got two lines so its pretty much confirmed it for me. Going to see the doc either this week or next as am on holiday in three weeks (week at Centre Parcs) so need to check what I can and cannot do etcAm in shock! Am sooooooo happy!Cherry, xxx

  8. I am the same as you MAT, no trouble at all picking a boys name but girls I'm struggling with (Btw not PG yet but we're trying)So far we have come up with:SophieBrookeImogenAshleighSophiaMarieLilly (although hubby isn't keen)ClaireTrouble is they are all lovely names but none are jumping out at me right nowCherry, xxx

  9. Just got back from the doctors.I have SPD :(Explanations...I'm in so much pain :( and my legs keep giving way :( i've fallen over twice in a week :(Sucks :(

Ouch darlin! On the plus side they might induce you early if it gets really bad. A friend of mine is due middle of May but they may induce her any day now as her SPD is so bad shes on morphine for it. Then again other friends have had SPD and whilst its not nice they have managed to go full term so fingers crossed for youCherry, xxx
  10. I think i know it, the one thats behind the quays? that you can allmost see from the lifts???Wait a min, your in Kent! what on earth were you doing over my way!!???

Her partner is from Southampton.I like the Quinny Buzz, it looks modern without taking up loads of space when not in useCherry, xxx
  11. The reason I asked about MAT is because she always appears to be ridiculously emotionally unstable. Nothing to do with age.

Are you just posting in this thread to sh*t stir? Yeah so what if MAT has had a more colourful life then most? It doesn't mean shes unstable.MAT, hope your ok and the pains have subsided a bit. If your in any doubt ring the doctor again or your midwife and see if they can bring your scan forwardCherry, xxx
  12. THREE people have asked him that question now, hes being a coward, leave him to it.

Actually I find it quite insulting that hes even asked the question, the least he could do is explain why!Btw MAT have you looked at the Baby Talk forum on Confetti? There are loads of ladies on there who want to share their experiences with the hormones, births etc and a few midwives who are happy to answer any questions you have :)Cherry, xxx
  13. Out of curiosity, was this baby planned?

Out of curiosity, why does it matter? It's not as if she is a chavvy teenager with no qualifications.
Because not being a teenager makes it so much better?
Why does it matter to you so much if this baby was planned or not?Cherry, xxx
  14. yep.Boy: Dillan, or Dylan Matthew ClarkGirl: Bethany Grace ClarkI really want a boy, but im so so so sure it will be a girl! Also, i found out the other day, that Dylan meant 'The Sea' very apt for an islander!

I like the name Dylan spelt with the Y not the I.Your hormones will settle down eventually and your other half will learn to tell the difference between how you would act normally to situations and how you react now your PGCherry, xxx
