That Hardys section was bizarre even for the broken gimmick. We knew they had to take the titles back with them having left, but that was pretty random.

Really? I thought that was pretty common knowledge.

 

It really was a great way to put Balor over on his night. Beating 2 time (and current) US champ Rusev, former US Champ Cesaro and 2 time Intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens in one match to then cleanly beat 3 time WWE Champion Roman Reigns, certainly seems to be a signal of intent for him.

Also regarding Reigns, good on him for doing clean jobs two nights in a row. Is he being punished for the wellness failure? Possibly, but by just doing what is asked of him will bring him out the other end sometime

Like HHH was known to say. Following the curtain call incident he was told he was going to eat shit and like the taste. He got the respect after it though. I'm sure it will happen here if he keeps his head down.

Riley knocked it out of the park this week. That promo alone is all you need. Basic points and tons of emotion. He's gotta have another main roster run, surely!

I was pissing myself flicking through these. The camp throwback theme falls flat on its face because the guy just looks so appalling- shit physique and the least intimidating face I've ever seen on someone being pushed as a tough guy. Really hope they give up on him soon, it would take the piss if he ever made the main roster.

 

It's a shame, because the gimmick is something I would be well into with the right man fronting it.

To me, those pics of him are so bad, they have a "Real Man's Man" campness to them. Funny as fuck lol.

Totally echo the comments about him though. Cannot stand the guy or the push he seems to be getting.

They've slightly changed his gear, but to me he looks like he is just wearing the other half of rollins' gear.

Soon as I heard Heyman say 'Plan C' I thought of Brock Lesnar.

The lack of Lesnar being mentioned this week and the plan C comment led me to believe they are trying to make people think it will be Cesaro.

Blatantly Lesnar though.

Bo was great to watch in that segment. Though not sure where they are going with it. I wonder how they will bring him back if he doesn't take off on the road as suggested?

Kidd and Neville look like they could have another 10 brilliant matches without boring me. Great job.

All this talk between Bray and Cena about destroying his legacy and seeing who Cena really is, leads me to believe this could be the feud that turns Cena heel. Maybe turning on Hogan at Mania? I'm probably just blowing dust off a broken record, but just something about the things Bray was saying.

 

Cena is still the biggest merch seller by a long way. As long as he is, he is not going to be a heel

Must admit, thought the merch point is a strong one, I thought this a few days back. With the top of the card as it is, Orton, Batista, Bryan, Lesnar...could this be the only opportunity they get? I know some of them aren't exactly flourishing at the minute and it's pretty heel heavy, but I couldn't help but think it.

Little late to the party, but I have only just caught up with NXT. Dallas, for me is great. The genius is in his total denial of being disliked. The "no more Bo" to "know more Bo" sigh change made me giggle.

As said above, Paige is way ahead of the other girls, though I enjoyed her match with Emma. For someone who doesn't get to see much wrestling now, that was one of the best diva matches I have seen in a while.

The Ascension look lile stars, Zayn is playing a great role and Regal on commentary is genius. The way he reacted to the dirtiest diva in the game comment got another laugh from me.

What would Bryans side plates have been on the WWE title? Little Beards? A Yes and No?

He won't. He'll build it and build it and eventually face Bryan in a match where he'll probably tap in the centre of the ring.

 

Exactly. Don't see why anyone would think Triple H will try and ruin this. I'm pretty sure he must be high on Bryan at the moment, and want to get him over huge.

I'm hoping for a few months of Bryan having to get through each member of the Corporation. Build to maybe the Rumble Bryan vs HHH in which HHH taps, setting Bryan up for the vengeance come Mania vs Orton. As I'm assuming 6 months out for Cena more or less rules him out for a decent build for Mania.

Or maybe they'll go hell for leather and put the belt on him again anyway, what do I know.

I think that's what they need to do. Worst case scenario he fucks up and they get the PR of "we will even fire our champion to protect our wellness policy" or he will stop being bored and stop plodding through and make a go of it.
