  1. Did footage ever get released of the after math between Dreamer/Foley from ECW? The one where they wrapped a chair in a towel and it flew off and burnt the audience?

That was in 1995, wasn't it? I remember PWI going nuts about it back in the day. I haven't ever seen any footage out there of it.

I think I read somewhere that Heyman had the footage destroyed.

Unsure about footage. But I have a hazy memory that PowerSlam published a photo in about their Aug 95 issue

This one kinda sparked my interest when I heard Raven mention it on the Forever Hardcore documentary. Ive seen the match they aired on tv but they strangly cut it immediately after the win before terry Funk ran down. Not sure if a fan cam exists though.

Now in 1995 when Raw shot their intro with the superstars on the roof. Did any of that match air anywhere? I think I read ages ago Owen hart won it but not sure if the full match exists. Oh and why didnt they show the USS intrepid bodyslamming event in full?

  2. Was their any truth to the rumour that LordsofPain mentioned about John Cena vs Hulk Hogan match main eventing Wrestlemania 25? I remember them covering it until some injury caused Hogan to back out of the match.

  3. Bit of a strange question here but why did Christian ever go back to wwe?

From what I heard he was only brought back because Edge convinced Vince McMahon to hire him and they havent really done anything interesting with him. Then reading about house shows an upcoming Christian and Hornswaggle vs Dolph and Chavo Guerrero feud. This is a slap in the face of Christian fans as many believe by now hes a main eventer.

I think Christian would of been better off staying in TNA as they did use him as a top guy.

  4. Where is there a list that shows every single unrecognised WWF and WCW title changes?

By the way why does WWE blantatly refuse to acknowledge Flairs world title win at Uncensored 1999? I mean considering he held the belt for a month untill dropping it at the next PPV kinda seems a bit silly.

I didn't know WWE don't recognise Flair's title win in the (very good) main event at Uncensored '99. Actually, it's weird that for years now Flair has always been referred to as a 16-time World Champion when, if you count all the brief switches and unrecognised stints he had in the '80s, it must top 20.

The wrestling business is MEANT to over-exaggerate stuff, not play it down. Reminds me of the story I read in The Death Of WCW where Tony Schiavone said there were LESS fans in attendance at the Georgia Dome than what there legitimately was. Baffling.

Oh yeah its puzzling I know unless they wont recognise because it happened under dubious circumstances. I loved the Cage Match and its true about WCW not recognising Flair title win at the 1992 Rumble or the match in September.

You remember in 1994 at Spring Stampede when they had a double pin in the Steamboat/Flair match and they declared the title vacant and then had a rematch on TV to crown a new champion. They dont recognise that either. A shame cos it went a long long time and its a unjustice they wont recognise that.

I dont know whats wrong with WWE because they dont even recognise Flairs match at starrcade 1995 when he won a triple threat match and beat Savage for the title. Even the rematch at Superbrawl when he beat Savage in a cage for the belt.

Whats the bloody hell wrong with WWE. Those were PPVS and should count. Alright I can agree in not counting the time Nash just handed flair the belt to be the champion. Shame the one against Jarrett they dont count either. Yes it sucks they dont count the title change between Rude/Flair because it was still for the title whether NWA withdrew or not it was still the same Championship. Same for the the one at clash of the champions when they unified the titles when Flair beat steamboat and Hogan debuted in the WCW arena.

As for his number of reigns I think its 25 times so theirs quite a lot WWE dont count which is rubbish as they still happened.

  6. Watching a Outsiders vs Steiners match from WCW Superbrawl 1998 on youtube why are the Steiners walking to the ring with 2 sets of tag belts?

Also I noticed that a event took place at WCW Uncensored 1999 that headlined a Hogan/Flair match for the Championship in a Steel cage first blood match. Why do WWE refuse to acknowledge this World title win for Flair when he held the belt for a good month before dropping the title at the following PPV?

  7. Which Smackdown did triple h go mental and smash a tv camera in the middle of the ring? I remember Vince warned him not to but he did it anyway.

Also was wondering if I was dreaming or not but I saw a pic of Hogan confronting Giant Gonzalez in 1993 at a house show. Now at mania 9 the fans were yelling for Hogan when the Giant laid oiut the deadman on a stretcher. Were their any plans for this feud? I know Hogan left in July following the tour but seems strange having this confrontation.

  8. Just watched a 40-man WWF battle royal from 1992 with a load of TV job guys and unknowns in it - one of whom bore a striking resemblance to the bleach-blond Sting. Who was this guy?

On which release was this match on?

There were two televised "40-Man Battle Royales" in 1992.

This one was on "Bashed in the USA"..

Another one was shown on the US Rampage 1992 video...

Davey Boy Smith won a 40-man battle royal by last eliminating the Beverly Brothers at 10:19; other participants included: WWF Tag Team Champions Ted Dibiase & IRS, Virgil, Barry Horowitz, Rick Johnson, Al Hunter, Bob Knight, Glen Ruth, the Beverly Brothers, Jim Powers, Duane Gill, Repo Man, Brian Knobbs, Tatanka, Sgt. Actually those wernt broadcast on TV. They were part of Coliseum Home Video. The Tv matches that occured for 40 man battle royal was won by Berzerker.

  9. I recently got the Macho Man set off Silvervision and Im watching it just now. Im on the mixed tag match with Dusty and when Dusty comes to the ring instead of the "American Dream" music there is something that is or sounds incredibly like an old game show song from the UK. Anyone know which one it is?

    :)

    Thank you.

That was actually doing my head in. Was there any particular reason they chose to use this?

I think they might of had a bit of bother at the time of release for using his original theme as it was made by Jimmy Hart.

I figured that as I know they have had to change other themes on DVD releases. Just wondering whey they chose to use Wheel of Fortune. It just seems so out of place!

WWE should of got the copyrights instead of Jimmy Hart. I dont see why they can have Dustys theme on LOWM computer game but not anthologies. As for those DVDs why is it you cant have demolitions but you can have hulks? I mean Rick Derringer wrote both.

  10. How many Pro wrestlers are on facebook? Ive heard Ken Andersons on it but is their anyone else as alot of times you get fake ones.

I think Taz, Sabu and Dixie Carter have real ones. Most of them do Twitter instead.

Im sure Gregory Helms had one for sure. Not sure about Van Dam or Mero.

  11. Two questions.

    1. Has anyone ever ordered off ioffer? Are they reliable and are they good value for money as in cheaper than traders?

    2. Are their any long term plans to put the TNA title on Ric Flair as a way for him to retire when he leaves TNA?

  12. Who were the three guys in Roddy Piper's Family who appeared on WCW Television around February and March 1997?

I remember one being Earthquake but never knew who the other two were.

Horshu (Luther Reigns) was one of them. I remember this because people are still convinced it was Goldberg.

I remember checking google and someone even said it was Kurrgan from the WWF Oddities. Does the Third guy resemble Eugene maybe?

  13. Does anyone know a good place to watch Over The Limit online?

Justin.tv is a good place. They had wrestlemania online ready to watch when I woke up at 7am.

By the way does anyone know if ioffer is a reliable place and good value for money? Or are they more expensive than traders on tape trading sites?

  14. Anyone know what the song is that plays during the awesome video package at the start of HBK's new dvd 'My Journey'?

I dunnoi but I found those little videos before each segment with the words on screen as jr says it bloody annoying.

  15. So Bret wasent keen on dropping the WWF title to Austin at Mania?

I think it might have more to do with the fact he was asked to drop 20 grand a week from his contract. If your employee offered you a chance to stick around but drop a shitload of money and still work that daft schedule for a product you didnt like or go elsewhere and make three times that for a limited schedule what would you pick? Especially after McMahon had offered him his blessing to go to WCW.

He did a stretcher job for Austin and made him look like a star throughout late 96 and early 97. And he knew for months he'd be losing to Austin at WrestleMania. He dropped the title to Yokozuna, Sid, Shawn Michaels and Bob Backlund. Austin would have been like Blackpool getting beat of Chelsea compared to this lot.

While we re on the subject their was a raw match between Bret/Austin a street fight where Austin beat the crap out of Bret with a chair.

In regards to the question. Would I be happy to take a paycut with a 12 year career or go to WCW to get fresh new matches.

Hmmmm Id stick with WWE. Sure the extra money is good but loyality is better. I wouldnt be greedy with money and Id stay with the company before making wrestlemania 15 my final match. Id be happy to put austin over for the belt and have that final match in a years time at mania.

  16. Yeah someone on here mentioned a Bret/Shawn Ladder match at the Rumble. Not sure who be interesting to see where they got that info on. Alough it would made sense for Austin to face Bret at mania

It's in the massive Observer article from 1997. When they asked Bret to take a paycut, he asked McMahon what the coming months had in store if he were to stop and McMahon presented those plans to him.

Was just on WWE.com (first time in ages) and seen the WWE alumni list, it was just such a random list of names, does anybody know what the criteria is? Macho Man & The Warrior are on it but none of the TNA guys are, Animals on it but Hawk is'nt. The likes of Andre the Giant are missing but they have Billy Kidman & Lance Storm on it for fucks sake.

Because there's a Hall of Fame section (featuring Hogan, Flair, Andre etc.) and an alumni's section featuring the likes of Warrior and Savage who arent in the HOF.

So Bret wasent keen on dropping the WWF title to Austin at Mania?
