Anyone watching the World Matchplay? Great comeback from Painter, 8-2 down against Colin Lloyd and he came back to win 11-9. Hard to say when he lost after being so far ahead but I wouldn't say Lloyd threw it away, Painter just started hitting more trebles and finally hitting doubles. He shouldn't even have been 8-2 down but missed lots of doubles. Great match.

 

I'm supporting Barney, who already hit the first 9 darter of this tournament the other night.

Looks like they had the wrong two matches in the evening slot, bit of an anti-climax with two 5-0 matches.

Stompe vs Webster was a fantastic match, almost an outrageous comeback from Stompe.

This is even better, Whitlock had around a 114 average going into the 3rd set. Wade is coming back now though.

Barney/Baxter and Lewis/Taylor will be great tonight too, they will have to go some to be better than the first two 1/4's

Just watched John Rambo.

If you've seen the previous three films, (particularly First Blood Part 2), then you'll know exactly what to expect from this one.

Pretty gruesome scenes involving the genocide, when you know that that sort of stuff actually happens.

The usual death count, but with some major splatter.

I love the first three, and this fitted in perfectly for me.

Shoot 'Em Up - completely fucking ridiculous...dont go in expecting anything resembling tension or decent story telling, just go in expecting shitty one liners and lots of stupid ott action. I really enjoyed it, it's non-stop and real easy viewing. Don't expect a John Woo knock off (like the reviews have been saying), it's much stupider than that.

A devastating puch!

If the 'critics' hate it, then it's usually a film that i'll enjoy

I saw 'Waiting...' on Monday night at the cinema.

Virtually the whole movie is set inside a restaurant, where you get to meet all the waiters and busboys. A few familiar faces were in there, Ryan Reynolds (Amityville Horror) and Anna Faris (Scary Movies), and i thoroughly enjoyed it. The other half didn't though.

I think this film is going to be Marmite, either you'll love it or hate it, a bit like Napolean Dynamite.

This past Saturday i went to UCI cinema to watch a "Halloween Movie Mystery Night"

Saw Nicholas Cage's new film "Lord Of War" at the cinema on Monday evening.If your looking for action, then it's not really for you and at 2 hours seemed a little too long.A good film though, and really thought provoking when you realise that it is all based on actual events.
