And he's be using all of his possible opponents signature sequences, holds and techniques.
-
Smartmark have never sold ROH dvds.
-
Â
Joey Ryan is awesome. Why on earth have ROH not used him before.
-
What the attendance like for the last two tv tapings?
Â
Also, any word on how big attendance was for the last NYC show?
-
Yeah the TV show is getting really good. The Lynn/Black/Aries/Danielson 4 way was actually great, and had crowd reactions and everything! The shows aren't perfect or anything but there much more like what they should have been when it first started. Dropping the PPV's is a great thing as far as being a fan goes. It's confusing enough with the dvd's on a delay and the tv show. People are calling for live PPV's now, which is retarded. I seriously don't imagine that the HDNET show gets more than a couple of thousand viewers, and the PPV's no way sold more than 1,000 ever. The fanbase just isn't that big. HDNET really needs to try and get the ROH show out in the international market somehow.
Â
ROH is going to be different without Gabe, and whilst the new booking has lots of things that annoy me, there's still some fun to be had with ROH, and I see no reason why it can't be succesful.
-
Lance Storm's in ring return is a very good thing indeed. Could be an idea to listen to his booking idea's whilst he's there too Adam...
-
That it's a football chant perhaps?
-
Cobystag, how many would you say were at 7th anni?
Â
100 people in the ECW arena is going to look AWFUL on tv, like really bad. It didn't look that full to be honest at the original tapings, and there was actually 1000 people in the place. ROH is really strange at the moment. Even thinking about live PPV's is mental right now. They'd maybe get what, 500 people ordering them? They need to sort the booking out fast. I can see why they'd use people like D'Lo etc but the title on Lynn is a bad choice. If they continue this way, the hardcore fans are all going to dissapear (ya know the ones that actually buy dvds and come to shows) and your gonna be left with Cary's dream casual fan, which will mean there's about 50 people in the Arena for tv tapings. I dread to think how shitty the HDNet viewing figures are.

After watching the third ep of ROH on HD Fightnet it seems a new wrestling chant has arrived from Bryan Danielson supporters and it's probably the most original one to date
Â
"Yourgonnagetyourf******headkickedin! *clapclap-clapclapclap-clapclap-clapclapclap* Yourgonnagetyourf******headkickedin!"
Â
Blimey...
Â
Also do you people think that this thread deserves to be in the UKFF Gold section now?
Â
1. It's hardly a new chant for Danielson, they've been chanting it since he returned in 05.
2. Are you aware of the sport named football?

How did TAKA work for ECW in 99?
-
Was NJPW the highest grossing promotion in 2001? Looking at their results they have some massive attendances throughout there year. Including three 60,000 plus Tokyo Dome shows.
-
Yeah the look of the show is really great, it's mainly the dead sounding crowd that's ruining it. Nothing spectacular on the first show. Albright looked BLAND BLAND BLAND though. Love the new commentator, he's still got a lot to learn, but sounds very proffesional. ROH just needs to find it's feet, hopefully by the 3/4th set of tapings they'll have a good idea of what they should be doing.
-
Perhaps he's cut them a deal for multiple events. I'm sure they'll be able to make some money off the back of Q+A and autograph sessions alone in some of their key markets.
-
ROH has needed a decent big man for aaaaaages, Bison is perfect for them.
-
It's crazy to think about the current state of the US wrestling scene with those figures, the current supposed number 2 promotion can barely reach what the former number 3 promotion from the old hierarchy did, and that's with Panda pumping money constantly into it. Jeez.
-
Wow, it's been as low as 15,000! Dudleys = Super Draws. Those numbers are truly woeful if they are accurate. Even ECW used to do better than didn't they, or at least near that.
