    Just out of interest does anyone know if the DVD version of Paranormal Activity contains all 3 endings(presumably as bonus features) or not

    I think it does, yes.

     

    I enjoyed that film personally, although I wasn't freaked out during the film, it was more after it when I was locking up on my own etc.

     

    I loved The Expendables too, i'm definately going watching that again!

    Dunno if its been mentioned yet but the entire cast for the Avengers was present at Comic Con yesterday as well as Josh Whedon

    As well as those already cast confirmed were Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye (could be awesome) and Mark Ruffalo was also introduced, as The Hulk.

     

    Thats an amazing cast for one movie right there

     

    That night also included at Thor trailer and a Captain America teaser!!

     

    I'm seriously looking forward to these films!

    This was on AboveTopSecret. I agree with the guy, if it's all about ionosphere research whats with the dude reading out names and numbers?

     

    If you guys haven't heard, the once thought Numbers Station UVB-76 ("The Buzzer" or "Boat Horn"), has been solved.

     

    It's a center for ionosphere research measuring doppler shifts of a continuously transmitted signal.

     

    It's broadcast on 4.625Mhz in the shortwave band. The following link has a Russian science "log" with the carrier frequency being 4.625Mhz for ionosphere research.

    Though it's still weird, I don't know if this is actually solved. There have been VERY recent voices on UVB-76 including one EARLIER tonight, and one on Jan 10th (link below). The guy comes on and only says numbers. I'm not sure what that would have to do with ionosphere research, and is more related to numbers station. It says nothing about it's "partner stations" such as S32 "The Squeaky Wheel".

    Voice messages from UVB-76 are very rare. Three or four such messages have been intercepted in over twenty years of observation:

     

    At 21:58 GMT on December 24, 1997, the buzzing abruptly stopped to be replaced by a short series of beeps, and a male voice speaking Russian announced: "Ya

    UVB-76 is the callsign of a shortwave radio station that usually broadcasts on the frequency 4625 kHz (AM full carrier). It's known among radio listeners by the nickname The Buzzer. It features a short, monotonous buzz tone repeating at a rate of approximately 25 tones per minute, for 24 hours per day. The station has been observed since around 1982.[1] In rare occasions, the buzzer signal is interrupted and a voice transmission in Russian takes place. Only three to four such events have been noted.

     

    There is much speculation; however, the actual purpose of this station remains unknown.

     

    The buzzing as stopped 3 times since 1982 and when it does somebody reads out Names and numbers.

     

    Pretty creepy.

    Finally got round to watching 'Paranormal Activity' tonight, after hearing it was "wank and not scary" from a douchebag friend of mine, who thinks everything from Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez is the best thing ever and all other films not made by them are shit (I wish I was kidding), I bought the DVD and I really enjoyed it, for me it's easily one of the best horror/thriller i've seen in a long time. I've always like the concept of being scared of something you cannot see. But I felt no sympathy for the male character in it though as he was an idiot throughout the film I thought thinking it was all a game .
