  1. Really hoping it isn't Shane v Taker at Mania.

In probably his last Mania, in Texas, Taker should have more than that.

Kind of hoping against hope that Shane gets to pick a substitute and brings out Sting. Would be a fitting sendoff for both of them.

  2. I did find it very good the first time I did it, mainly I think because it differed so much from the lifting I had been doing, which was mostly heavy low rep work. Doing Body Beast gave me DOMS like never before because it was so much of a shock to my body.

I work out at home rather than in a gym so I am limited to basically free weights and bodyweight movements like chins and dips, so really it was an ideal program for me from the point of view of accessibility.

I have laid off weight training for a good while and been focusing on cardio and fat burning, so it will be interesting to see how I feel in a few weeks time.

  3. Well done Kookoocachu that is a staggering before and after.

I am now (re)starting the Body Beast program. I tried a lot of more cardio based programs over the past year or so but I definitely enjoy lifting weights much more than jumping up and down so i'm going back to that. Gonna try the "lean" program though as it has more cardio scheduled in it, which I certainly need!

  4. Loved this show once again, with the exception of the tag title match which was a bit of a clusterf*** in places and while it got better, the blown spots ruined it for me.

Finn Balor is just superb. I agree with those not keen on his entrance though. Looks like a cross between the Predator and The Boogeyman with the crawling to the ring.

  5. You'll need to have the network running in a Chrome browser window and then cast it, apparently that works. The app itself isn't Chromecast-compatible.

My issue is more the fact that the videos do not play when I run the network in the Chrome browser. Whenever I select something I get the short rating / violence video then nothing. Just constant buffering. I have emailed WWE technical support about it so I will see what they say.

  6. Chromecast doesn't work for me. I have been trying all ways to get it to work but to no avail.

I can get the network perfectly on my iPad through the app, but my laptop is having none of it. I have tried to run it on IE and Chrome but the videos won't play at all. Also tried the Chrome extension which mimmicks other browsers but still no good.

Pisses me off. Hopefully they will eventually make the app Chromecast compatible.

  7. Just got done watching Raw and that was lazy writing at it's fucking best. Starting this whole Anonymous GM is fucking pathetic. So it's back to "Can I Have Your Attension Please" every week again.  Only this time I think it's going to turn out to be Triple H that's supposed to be doing it from the HQ in Stamford.

It's like they thought fuck it, viewing figures will be up anyway cos people will be expecting an appearance by Sting after yesterday, so who cares if the show is actually any good.

Thought HHH doing Jack Nicholson in his promo was just bizarre.

  8. Where do we think this Cody and Goldust thing is going?

Cody continues to give Goldy new tag partners. They lose their match every week. Cody realises he wasn't the weak link in Codydust, Goldy was. Cody turns on him.

How about who his partner is going to be next week that no one has seen or heard of before?

Sting ;) . No doubt it will be Cody in a mask with a Lucha sounding name or something like that.

I'm really liking Sandow at the minute. Not sure if he is being booked in these comedy dressup segments as a punishment for something or not, but he is certainly making them work for him.

Is Orton injured at the minute as well? The Authority just inserting him into the MITB match without qualifying made sense, but with him not being on the show at all I was just wondering.

  9. However, the vignettes on Raw have absolutely solidified my utter contempt for the Adam Rose gimmick. Hate it with a passion. I'm talking channel-changing levels here. He comes off as an absolute cretin. Really can't see it working on the main roster past anything other than JTTS status.

    You wash your mouth out.

    Apologies.

What I of course meant to say was that the gimmick is a sure fire winner, solid gold. Won't be long before we are talking about Adam Rose in the same breath as Hogan, Austin and Rock.

Next WWE World Heavyweight Champion I reckon.

  10. Best Raw for me in a long long time. Great to see a lot of NXT talent coming through.

  11. Am I the only one who hated Adam Rose? I was actually amazed the NXT crowd bought into it. Expected them to start with the Leo Kruger chants and basically take the piss out of the entire thing, but no (unless the sound editors have been hard at work).

Maybe it'll grow on me, but I doubt it.

(Apologies - just spotted the Adam Rose thread after I posted this. Mods feel free to move the post if more appropriate).

  12. Started another round of Insanity. Did it last year and lost loads of weight, then started P90X but got bored of it after about 6 weeks.

What's the difference between the two? Are they as high impact on your joints as they appear?

Insanity is basically an extreme cardio workout incorporating some bodyweight resistance work, with no weights involved. P90X includes weight training in the program as well as plyo, yoga and a kenpo based workout each week.

Some parts of the workouts are higher impact, no doubt about it, but not excessively so.

Currently about 16 stone now, at 39 years old and 6'1. Looking to shed 2 stone of bodyfat and tone up in the next 3 months, before increasing muscle mass.

  14. Any chance the fat guy in the crowd was a plant? Just seemed to me that Punk was not even facing the direction that the boo came from and was able to pick out who did it instantly. Could of been any one of about twenty people.

Also with Heyman working it into his part of the angle, it just seems too convenient.

Either that, or both Punk and Heyman should be commended for thinking on the fly and using an opportunity which presented itself to amplify the tone of the promo and the segment as a whole.

    Scripted or not, it worked.

  15. Went to Edguy with White Wizzard as support at the Cathouse last night. Not the biggest fan of power metal but I was blown away by the energy of Tobi and the band, White Wizzard look very promising as a throwback band with a strong single in Over The Top.

Edguy fuckin rule. Would love to see them live but they never come anywhere near the North East. Got Tobi as a facebook friend :nerd:
