Fundraising raffle. HBK Signed WM25 chair up for grabs.

11 September 2016 - 13:50

Hello all,

Two of my closest friends were burgled on Friday night. They lost a laptop, their phones and a wallet with a modest but important amount of cash in it. As fellow comic types they're living day to day and contents insurance was beyond them for the time being, not least because the excess was extortionate.

As  a result I'm raffling off the chair I brought back from WrestleMania 25 in Houston. As a bonus I managed to get it signed by Shawn Michaels backstage at the Comedy Store in Manchester after his tour show there two years ago.

For ever fiver you donate you get an entry into the raffle. Every penny raised goes to Ben & Rebecca, two awesome folk that have helped me out through some dark times. Anyone that's ever come to an Eros Comedy show and enjoyed it owes these guys a dept of gratitude. Without them there'd have been no Mick Foley, DDP, Roddy Piper or William Regal shows.

I'm aiming for £500 to replace their gear. If we overshoot I can give them a bit extra for something nice as well.

Please enter if you can and share it if not. Link is here.

Thank you.

My Wrestlemania Funding Auction Stuff - Tee Shirts

23 February 2016 - 21:12

I'm selling a few of the bits and pieces I've amassed over my time running Eros Comedy's various tours. Hopefully raise a bit of spending cash for my trip to Wrestlemania in March. Otherwise it's packed lunches and walking rather than hiring a car.

Here's what's currently on offer. Will be adding more as time goes on.

WWE Tagged Classics - No Way Out/Backlash 2000

Signed by Mick Foley

WWE's Best Of Monday Nitro Volumes 1 & 2
Both Signed by Diamond Dallas Page

Powerslam Magazine from August 2000
Signed by Mick Foley

All legit, all signed while the aforementioned gentlemen were touring under the Eros Comedy banner. Hopefully make enough to cover a decent BBQ meal while I'm in that there Texas.

WWE Global Cruiserweight Series

16 February 2016 - 21:42

It's just been announced... WWE will be hosting a 32 man tournament across ten weeks this summer from July 13th featuring both WWE and non contracted talent from around the world.

All the info is right here

They've name dropped Evolve, Progress and Rev Pro in the article but acknowledged that talent contracted to other organisations most likely won't be able to compete, mentioning NJPW.

After years and years of JR and others talking about how they'd like to put more focus on lighter wrestlers but never coming through this is exciting stuff. Especially when you consider that we might see some familiar faces from these shores pop up.

Who do you reckon might be interesting additions from here? From Japan? Mexico? Anywhere else?
