The Song Of The Day Thread

Think it's pretty good. Would happily listen to an instrumental of the outro part, that was fucking heavy.I realise it isn't a pop song or anything but the hook is really annoying.Imagine it'll grow on me a bit but can't see it touching 'I luv U' or (from my limited grime knowledge) the even better 'When I'm ere'.Actually, feel free to pimp some further grime if there are any fans here.

Dizzee, Wiley, Riko, Kano, heavier Lady Sovereign stuff (before she went a bit pop) and Ruff Skwad (or sqwad however they spell it), JME, Skepta mainly. There's an awesome comp of early grime called run the road, I'd buy that and see who you like. :)I'll upload Future by Ruff Skqkwkwqad in a minute cos it's awwwwwesome.

If anyone releases a better single than this in 2007 I'll be shocked, it's fucking absurdly good.

Yeah, that's really great stuff. Nice video too.
Not my bag, but each to their own. My track of the day - Bug Powder Dust by Bomb the Bass, remixed by Kruder & Dorfmeister. This is off the K&D Sessions.http://www.sendspace.com/file/jfouvpHave a listen, see what you think.

Wesley Willis - Termites Ate My House Up

Jello Biafra of Dead Kennedy's fame found Mr Willis singing songs on the street for change. He gave the man a record contract on the spot. Now sadly deceased, we will always have his songs about termites, Christmas and such.

PS - If no-one responds with a comment to another one of my tracks, I'll never post another one. Plus, lots of sulking.

I'll respond. I loved this. Speaking of Jello Biafra reminds me of the giddy thrill of getting my older brothers C90 of "Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables" when I was a nipper. The song also reminded me of some special children (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kids_of_widney_high):-http://www.sendspace.com/file/bukgfhDon't ask how I have this song.

As promised, Future. <3 the little computer game bits on part of the beat.

That is true brilliance. Now, a completely different direction. It's folk-inspired Finnish black metal, and is actually a lot more cheerful than it sounds. This song makes me think of pirates for some reason.Finntroll - TrollhammarenProbably not to everyone's taste, but as I'm sure you're aware with this thread, you need to approach with an open mind

Mike Patton, of Faith No More fame, put the Kids Of Widney High records out on his label. Yet another reason he is an amazing man.
