This Anderson Silva retirement tour is too much fun. The Jake Paul fight would be great but Paul is far too smart to get into the ring with Anderson. Watch him call out Tito.ย

Agreed.

Anderson Silva is probably the only MMA fighter who has actually added to his legacy in a positive way coming out of this whole Triller/Jake Paul/Freak show thing. Think its just that hes come in quite unassuming, he's respecful to boxing and he's brought elements of his style into the sport that actually makes it fun to watch, fair fucks to him. When Anderson announced he was going into boxing i think everyone rolled their eyes but its worked out well.

As for Tito, well it couldnt have gone any worse.ย

This whole freak show was a sad night for boxing, at the very least if they got to do these 'exhibitions' put them in head guards.

Aren't head guards even worse though? I know they're effective for preventing cuts etc, but with a head guard all your doing is allowing someone like Holyfield to take even more shots to the head. We don't need head guards, we need 60 year old former fighters not getting licensed.

Was that why the Olympics this year didn't have them? It seemed like they'd decided to ditch amateur rules.

Yes, that was one reason as to why they changed it the rule for male boxer's in 2016. Head guards wereย  considered to increase the risk of blows to the head because the padding around the eyes limited the boxer's vision.

Ah, I see! Thanks for that.
