Paid Members Egg Shen Posted September 12, 2021 Paid Members Share Posted September 12, 2021 In the end, the Holyfield/Belfort fight played out in a best scenario kind of way. I don't think Belfort landed anything that clean, Holyfield simply fell over due to the action speeding up. Fair fucks to that referee too for stepping in before it got out of hand.Β
Moderators neil Posted September 12, 2021 Moderators Share Posted September 12, 2021 Triller is just the embodiment of everything that is wrong with society.
Dai
Someone buying this show, unless seriously deranged, would surely have the lowest expectations imaginable. That this show probably still made everyone who bought it feel short changed is an impressive achievement.Β

Gooner
Not that I trust anything that comes out of his mouth, but Haye was saying he got more for this 8x2 fight against his friend , then he did for his first fight against Tony Bellew, where apparently he earnt more then Β£3m for that fight, that just sounds completely crazy to me.Β
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted September 12, 2021 Paid Members Share Posted September 12, 2021 (edited) Who is David Haye fooling with this bullshit? the whole Haye/Fournier thing was pure exhibition, it was two mates having a slightly higher intensity spar. Good on Haye, who earns good money for easy work. To call this a comeback and call out Fury though? get to fuck. Haye has conned fans for years, there's not many fighters who produced so many farcial events/fights and contiued to thrive. This is a callout too far. Stay in the celebrity lane and earn a few quid ya numpty. Β Edited September 12, 2021 by Egg Shen
David
He's not seriously looking to face Fury, he's just making sure that people are talking about him today. And it's worked.
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted September 12, 2021 Paid Members Share Posted September 12, 2021 Maybe, but he's clearly looking to fight again. Probably used this "fight" to reintroduce himself to the boxing world and see how he felt afterwards. Still, why call out Fury? he'd have been better off calling out someone in the Triller relm. Paid Members Egg Shen Posted September 12, 2021 Paid Members Share Posted September 12, 2021 yeh, he'd earn a lot money, but its not going to happen is it?Β
theringmaster
The funny thing about Haye is how much he talked about retiring by 34 (think that was the age) and here he is at 40 still giving it the big un. And Ortiz has to have serious CTE issues? How is he even allowed to fight? This whole freak show was a sad night for boxing, at the very least if they got to do these 'exhibitions' put them in head guards.
Cousin Jim Bob
It was 30 Haye originally claimed. It raised a few eyebrows but most thought it was sensible for a young fighter to make their money and then get out young. Like alot of things he has said it turned out to be total bollocks.
