Feel free to bring back down votes. Perhaps for the joint Carrie Fisher cameo I have to agree its good. "It's not funny anymore James!" Merzbow
Out of everything that happened in The Return this was what split opinion the hardest, it's great for the little shitstorm it brewed.

WyattSheepMask
Frasier had too many great guest stars to list, but Kelsey Grammer as Sideshow Bob must be as good a shout as any in those early seasons of The Simpsons before it went from guest to pretty much a recurring character. Just had a look on IMDB and he’s now been on the show 22 times.

I'm a mad Twin Peaks fan who initially hated The Return but warmed to it after another watch. However, I've never been in doubt that this was the best scene of the new series, and is just ahead of the Horne brothers extolling the virtues of Brie Edited July 28, 2020 by Guy Bifkin

That was utterly fucking phenomenal. Wasn't expecting it either, and I never want the character to ever return. That scene is too perfect. The answer is clearly Albert Brooks as Hank Scorpio. Scorpio is definitely the best one-episode character in TV history. Jubal Early from the last episode of Firefly is second best. Paid Members air_raid Posted July 30, 2020 Paid Members Share Posted July 30, 2020 It’s not really a “guest star” situation but the version of himself played by LeBron James in Trainwreck is absolutely worthy of mention here. Absolutely the bright point of the film.

Absolutely the bright point of the film. I thought he was brilliant, and for that reason I'm really looking forward to the new Space Jam movie. Disagree that he's the brightest point in that movie though- Big Match John knocks it out of the park for me, Clive.
Keith Houchen
Father Fintan Stack in Father Ted. Incredible how Arthur Matthews created so many memorable characters all on his own but the PITCOS avatar one stands out.

Paid Members PunkStep Posted July 31, 2020 Paid Members Share Posted July 31, 2020 "Is that my arse?" There have been plenty of good cameos in Friends. The Robin Williams/Billy Crystal one might not have been all that but it was completely off the cuff and the cast didn't even have a clue what they were going to do. I even liked the Brad Pitt one.
